I’ve been baking bread more often and this pull-out bread slicer with a storage box has definitely made slicing easier and tidier. I love the design—the cutting board slides out smoothly and the bread falls right into the container without making a mess. It helps keep the slices more even, which I always struggled with.The bread box is spacious and fits more than I expected, plus it looks nice on the counter. I wouldn’t say it’s the sturdiest thing in the world—it’s lightweight plastic—but for the price, it works well and does the job. If you’re not rough with it, it holds up just fine. Overall, it’s a clever and convenient tool for anyone who loves homemade bread!

I got this, not for bread, but for slicing three loaves of meatloaf. Photo attached. Trim one end roughly square before inserting into the guide. It was three times as fast and I made nice, even, and consistent slices for sandwiches. Assembly and disassembly is easy for using and washing. I also plan on using it for eggplant. I am sure that other vegetables, like squash, will work as well. Just make sure that you have a good sharp knife.

I wanted to give this a 4.5.The product works great. I have a loaf of bread sitting in the refrigerator right now.Things I liked.The bread box is easy and convenient. I can fit around two loafs in there.Plastic is easy to clean.All the parts fit together easily.Love the ability to place the guides at custom widths.The net bag for the bits and pieces is nice, I can toss it in a drawer and not worry about having to hun things down later.The padded feet really grip on our ceramic tile counters so that helps keep it all steady.Room for improvement.For the 2 lb loaf the bread rises just slightly above the plastic slots. So you really need to work on lining up your knife.The plastic base does get scratches from the knife. I bought a pretty descent 14 inch bread knife and it leaves scratches. You will get this on bamboo ones too. If it really bugs you I would recommend sanding them out every couple of months. Keep it clean and dry and you shouldn't really have any issues.Unless you buy a restaurant grade powered slicer, this will work just fine for 99% of us.Is it perfect, no.Does it do the job with a little care, and skill, yes.Cost to benefit ratio is high, so I will recommend this product.

Love this bread cutter. It's simple but works great. I like how the width can be adjusted to fit the bread. The sides can be easily removed so it can be stored flat and fit in a relatively small space.

Cutting system works great. Sealing ability is not that good though. Doesn't create an air tight container in any way, thankfully ordered bread bags at the same time. Container has now been repurposed and only using the slicer portion for home made bread

Out of the slicers I purchased throughout the years this is the best I ever purchased to slice my bread machine bread. I like that I can get thinner slices but if I want thicker slices for French toast I can adjust the slices. I like that the crumb catcher is easy to clean and acts as a lid for the bread box. Also I like the mesh bag supplied to store the slicing racks. One thing I did notice is the rubber on the base to prevent sliding could possibly fall out if you are not careful when storing. They do give you extra rubber things if they do fall out. I don’t know what to call them sorry. I am very happy with this product and very highly recommend purchasing. Quality great cleaning so easy and bread storage is a plus.

I use this thing ALL THE TIME! The plastic is really thick and sturdy no matter how sharp my knife is, so there are only mild scratches where the knife lands. It's also really nice how it can change the "size" of bread you're slicing, so I can use any size of bread pan I want and I don't have to worry about how I slice it. Really good!! Absolutely worth the money!

My Kiss Core New Upgrade Bread Slicer for Homemade Bread, Bread Slicing Guide Adjustable Width, Foldable and Compact Cutting Guide with Crumb Tray is my second bread slicer tray and is much closer to everything I want. The features listed in the name of the product cover all features that work for me. My previous slicer was made of bamboo and while cheaper, was not as good.For example, the crumb tray on this one is designed to allow you to cut a slice of bread all the way without having to work around the tray to finish the cut. This sounds obvious but credit to Kiss Core for getting this right. Having the width of the trey adjustable and the fingers of the guide slightly flexible means that your loaf can be held more firmly in place for cutting. This means fewer fingers needed to keep the loaf in place. So far this has meant no missing or damaged fingers as I wield what may not be the world’s sharpest bread knife.The one feature this slicer does not and cannot offer is ready adjustment in how thick each slice is going to be. My bread, especially the whole grain breads tend to be a tad dense. A thinner slice would be nice. With some work you can trick the slicer into guiding your knife through a thinner slice. You may want to count fingers after every few trick slices.Assembly and disassembly is simple enough. I only just found out it is dish washer safe. I recommend using the dish washer because the way some of the pieces are molded there are a lot of places for crumbs to hide. The sizes of the parts are not exactly designed for easy racking in the dish washer, but I am glad that design was made for purpose rather than cleaning.
