A GUIDE TO THE LOUVRE (ANGLAIS)

Perfect!

This guide is a great deal, even at full price. The color illustrations are beautiful, and many are quite large. The book includes samples of all of the Louvre's collections and makes a very good souvenir. I have many other books about the Louvre, most more comprehensive than this one, but I still find this book worth having. Some of the illustrations here are larger than those in larger format, more comprehensive books.

I am hoping to plan the day with the art work I really want to see at the museum.

This is a fantastic guide to the Louvre!! It's perfect for a preview of what you may see on your visit, a guide as you tour the Louvre, or a collection of information and descriptions after you leave. Well worth the read, especially since it's (almost) impossible to see it all there!!

A bit too heavy and thick to carry around at the Louvre, it nonetheless has great pictures and good layout to help plan your trip for however many days you want to spend.

This is a solid guide to the Louvre, though it says too little about some of the most famous works. it is, however, better than anything else sold at the Museum itself, which has a paltry selection of works in English. You would be wise to find the time to study some of the main works ahead of time, even if only via Wikipedia and other common sources.

This is an all round comprehensive guide. The objects and paintings are described well, short but to the point and well chosen to represent the museum
