Missing snaps
So I ordered this item and didn’t expect it to fit my model but it did, its very sturdy and protective the only problem I have it that the bottom piece is loose because it’s missing the snaps as show in the picturesI’ll most likely return because it’s bothering meMy model - hp envy laptop 17-cw0097nr

Excellent & stylish way to product your laptop
This is such a nice product. It's a see-through plastic. Pink is bright and vibrant. There is plenty of ventilation, and the feet are a wonderful feature to raise the back of the laptop. I had no problem installing it on my HP Envy 17t-ch100 model laptop. Snaps right on, top, and bottom are separate.This is my 2nd laptop cover, I purchased one for my work laptop, a different HP model, and had to have one for my personal laptop.

Perfect Fit!
After reading the item description, I didn’t think it would fit my HP 17 CW000 - but in reading the reviews, someone said it fit their 17” Envy. Right on! It does, like a glove!

Strong sturdy hard plastic but not matte black
The picture seemed to show a matte black and possibly rubberized texture for the black case but that wasn't the case. However, I am thoroughly impressed with how strong and sturdy the plastic is and it isn't glossy just not matte neither. Will update with picture review later. The image also seemed like it was a soft (almost rubberized) texture. It was a little difficult and nerve-wracking to clip on but also so so satisfying as its the PERFECT fit and has full confidence of staying on the device. You would need to use both hands and unclip it carefully to remove it without breaking the cover but that's even more of a testament for how much it will probably protect such an expensive device.
