Currently, this bed only has full and queen sizes.

Q: When one side of the middle slats go in then it’s too short to lock in on the other side. What am I doing wrong?

Pls note don't lock one end of the ribs with a plastic buckle before installing the other end, you need to insert both ends of the ribs and then lock them with a plastic buckle.
