My deafness requires my hearing amplified to 60db. Around the volume of a vacuum cleaner.Everything was quieter than a whisper with these.Couldn't hear anything. thought they were clogged, checked them thoroughly.I bought these because the amplifiers that use actual tubes (As prescription hearing aids do.) are usually better than the earbuds that are connected to the device by wire in the tube.

I have moderate to severe hearing loss and these over the ear hearing aides are great! I have had them for 1 month now and love them.. they are small and unnoticeable. They truly last a full 20hrs.. the bluetooth works great and the sound quality is good! I highly recommend this!

I bought this for my mother. She says it works really well, but if she wears it too long it hurts her ear.

I ordered this product and it came pretty fast, but the first box was empty. It had this case and the tube that connected the ear piece too the amplifier, but no amplifier. The second package was obviously brand new and not a returned item. It has plastic wrapping and a sleeve that went over the box. It had all of what I paid for inside the box of the replacement order. Product was easy to wear, but it was garbage. It had nonstop feedback like when you get your electric guitar to close to the amp. I do not recommend. It is a shame that us poor people are subject to such horrible devices that are supposed to bring joy back into our lives by giving us the gift of hearing back. This device has made me become so depressed that I don't even want to live anymore because it made me realize I will never be able to hear my loved ones again because a good working device is far from my price range. Shame on Amazon for promoting such a deviating device.

Ordered this for my wife because she has mild hearing loss in one ear. After charging it fully she tried using it and was not pleased with it. It fit okay on her ear and she said it was comfortable at least for the short term.I tried it out, turning it down to low. For some reason we keep hearing our own voice echoed back through the device. I am guessing it is because this device is really nothing more than an amplifier and not really a true hearing aid with filters. It just did not perform well for us.If your looking for something to amplify sound, then this will work for you. I personally do feel that it is a good use of our money.

override my earlier review. the louder parts of speakers vocal are clangy (the words he is emphasizing) , and echoing or something. TV is same, and it's not due to TV volume. Volume won't go low enough to get rid of that problem. /// Old review: A bit tinny but it does squelch background noise. I have only one usable ear, and this right side device is good enough to break the silence. I can listen to TV and can understand my wife (who doesn't think to adhere to protocol in speaking to hard of hearing. For the cost, this device is amazing. I got this as a sorta emergency, my somewhat expensive commercial aid seems to have broke with a hard drop. I have to bet used to how the volume is controlled; it would have been good if the instructions were a bit more descriptive of how the volume settings cycle; I think it's work up to max then work down to min. The battery seems to be adequate. I like the fact that it charges with usb-c.

I have high frequency hearing loss. This device amplifies all frequencies. Does makes it harder not easier to understand speech.
