Don't forget an O ring!
when I saw these I noticed there were no o ring on the bungs. I thought this may be a new design where the plastic is meant to sit flush. I fitted to my boat and filled the bilge area with water and it leaked water. It was coming thru in a steady stream of 1 drip every 4 seconds.I fitted an o ring and it does seem to be watertight now. Glad I tested before putting my boat on my mooring!!!For the sake of a fraction of a cent these should have o rings as standard, but they do work well when correctly set up.

Not completely universal. It will fit most kayaks but not the newer Dagger kayaks, I think their boats are designed for a wider bung.

Not for newer kayaks won't fit dagger or riot kayaks unfortunately that's what I have.So not universal
