Just like new! I love saving money, and it works just like all the others. I would recommend getting this. The interface is so easy, vs a SAMSUNG smart TV.

YouTube issues among other apps, but good customer service
Love the Alexa features, get access to my favorite streaming platform and can watch what I want, when I want. Most of the time. Keep in mind, I get free cable for where I live, so it just plugs into the HDMI port on the back, and I watch tv through that; I just have an issue when there's functionality issue with the streaming apps. I also mainly bought this for the Alexa functionality, and to make my 48 inch monitor a smart tv, but the value is mostly concentrated in the 48 inch OLED. That being said, since the initial review, I was contacted by Amazon Customer Service, and was given instructions on how to manually update the product, which helped initially, but as I'm writing this review, post call, and waiting for them to open a digital ticket, the problem with the apps was tested again, found in the same state of issues, and attempted to problem solve the same way, to no avail. I think the issue is with overhead on the memory, cooperation with app developers, or just silicon degradation, which I learned about from my extensively curated YouTube feed (though, seeing how silicon only degrades to the point of issue after 7 to 8 years of consistent use, it's the least likely of all options). Amazon Support, I am keeping you in mind, and will feed you my notes and info when I receive the email, but the fact that you called and tried to help me resolve the issue deserves a more favorable review.I will give further feedback through proper channels and update this review as it becomes apparent it needs updating, but forcing stop of all applications and clearing their cache did nothing. Restarting the cube, either by going into settings, or unplugging the power/plugging it back in after 10 seconds, like most computerized devices, solved pretty much every issue. I do have some peeves about being kicked out of apps occasionally, but a quick restart makes everything stable again.Moral of the story: don't judge tech support for telling you to turn it off/on or disconnect/reconnect the power, or even do something as simple as a basic restart function; it's basically the thumb of God on computers, smartphones, anything with a screen that you can see videos/live feeds on. Your videos, unless they have a persistent issue of being copyright stricken on YouTube, will be there when you get back online (if not, wait a few days; check in later, and they may be resolved and cleared)

Poor Documentation and a Possible Switcheroo
I bought this device to replace a 2021 Firestick 4K in the hopes of getting smoother video. We are most interested in watching MLB, the Detroit Tigers. I connected this new Fire Cube but quickly found out that the supplied batteries were DEAD! The Cube offered to synchronize with our old Firestick 4K. I was hoping to see the apps from the 4K but NO! Had no trouble finding and loading the FOX NATION app but could not find or otherwise load the MLB TV app to watch the Tigers. I get the impression that I can watch MLB somehow via Prime TV but could not get tonight's Tigers game. Searched everywhere for the MLB TV app. I must have searched for 2 hours but no luck. Some sources say that MLB is no longer available for the Fire TV Cube... so what good is it.? If I can't get this resolved in a few days, I'll return it.I am a 40 year veteran of the IT industry. I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1964. I have technical experience and aptitude. How do less technically experienced people deal with junk like this. I will update and maybe apologize if things change but right now, this product does not honor the Amazon name!
