We had to reverse the handle for opposite-side operation but it was easy to follow the included instructions. Finish and materials are nice and sturdy.

Handle broke on closet door. This is exactly what I needed to replace the old. Great product for sure!

Works great. Completely reversible with the key tool provided although a little clunky to pop off the handles. Once they are off you just switch them to the other side of the door and the push right back on (lock is not fix in a handle). They look good, lock works great, they are sturdy.

I love the look and feel of this lever. My only caveat to that is it is a genuine hassle to switch-out the handles when they need to fit on a door that requires them to be switched. The "switch" involves inserting a pin or small screwdriver blade into a little hole. This is supposed to release the handle so you can place it on the opposite side, thus orienting it correctly for the door. Getting this little mechanism to release is an exercise in patience and fortitude. I ordered 6 of these handle sets and had do do this change-over on four of them, times two "releases" per handle set. It took a LOT longer than I anticipated to finesse these handles to come off for the change. Not a huge deal, but a definite hassle for an otherwise easy installation job. As for the end result, the handles look and work great and I'm very happy with the upgrade these represent over the tacky gold handles of a similar design that were on the doors when we bought our home. So, buy with confidence... and build in extra time to switch the handles should your door orientation require it. Oh, one more thing. The "locking" aspect of this handle can be over-ridden by a simple twist of even a fingernail on the outside of the door. In other words, instead of poking an object inside the outside handle, it had a little coin-like "key" indentation that one merely gives a simple 1/4 turn and it's unlocked. So, don't think of this as any kind of a secure locking mechanism. Kids in particular might find this rather amusing and frustrating. Say your daughter wants to get away from her kid brother and she locks herself in her room. That will not necessarily deter the lad once he learns how easy it is to simply twist the outside mechanism for entry. There you have it.

These were a great simple update to our "NEW" home. we had the tacky gold handles all throughout the house and we wanted to upgrade to a sleek oil rubbed bronze. The switch was easy and we ordered enough for hte whole house. Not a single issue. Also it was easy to change from left to right handle with the simple included tool. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who plans to sell their home as well as this is a simple elegant update that definitely adds value. They are heavy duty also no cheap stuff here! make sure you have your phillips screwdriver ready as this is the only tool you really need for this project. The unlocking mechanism for the bedroom doors we simply hid on top of the door frame just in case of an accidental lock.

This Schlage "Seville" style level knob looks the same as the "Accent" style but the Seville has a "turn button" lock and the Accent has a pushbutton lock. The Seville stays locked from both sides until you turn the button, whereas the Accent unlocks from one side (button side) if you operate the lever. If your cats have figured out how to pull on the levers, the Seville will keep them from opening it.

What a great product. Priced right and well built. Easy to install and instantly upgrades the door. Always spend your money on what you see and touch the most awesome n your home when remodeling. I replaced all door knobs with the lever stlyle. The oiled bronze has a nice warm tone to it. I highly recommended this product.

Have several mid-90s style bright brass handles throughout the house. Started replacing them (first floor) with these updated, bronze handles. Literally took me five minutes to install each door. Overall, an excellent update over the old brass hardware.Pros:1) Includes all required hardware (plates and screws) in the same finish as the handle.2) Very easy to install, especially if you have an electric screwdriver.3) Reversible handles - can be used on both left and right-swinging doors.Cons (minor):1) May need a touch of lubricant to make the slide work extremely friction-free.Will be replacing the remaining bedroom door with these as well.

Having the option of plate mounted or compression fit for the latch mechanism is great. I went with compression for all the doors in our home because I hate having to mortise the slot for a mounting plate on a new door and since the hole has to be drilled anyway for the latch it saves a step. Be careful when you select a door set because as I found out and had to return a set, they don't all have the mounting option available. It would be nice if this feature was mentioned in product descriptions. Amazon offers this item at a very competitive price.

I've bought this item before and love them. They are easy to install and I like how you can change what side you want the handle to be on. This took me less than 5 minutes to put on and requires only 1 screwdriver to install.
