Good for some applications, but not mine.
Would work good if you wanted to hang these across a yard or large open area using posts, but not for screwing to a wall or perimeter.I uses some of the loops and they worked OK, but the rest of the hardware was kind of a waste for me. This is definitely more suited for someone hanging these across long distances and not flush mounting.

Squirrel proof a bird feeder.
I live in the woods along with about a thousand squirrels. After trying everything to keep them out of the bird feeders I bought a string light hanging kit. I suspended the wire between two trees about 8-10 above the ground and hang the bird feeders from them using a broom handle with a hook to hang and remove the feeders. In 5 years not 1 squirrel have breached my defenses. They don't even try. So, this kit has everything you need to hand string lights or a bird feeder or both. 5-stars.
