Q: what about water thats flowing away from spout, would like work?

I am not sure I understand the question. This is an adaptor to attach to the end of a pole to which you attach the Pro Gutter Scraper. The purpose of this is so that you can change the angle up or down so that your scraper can fit inside your gutter. You then walk or move the pole left to right or via versa to scrape out any debris in your gutter. I have found that if you are not careful all your debris can end up falling down the down pipe which is probably not a good idea. You can actually flick the debris out but better on a dry day when it is not mud. I hope some of this goes towards answering your query.

Q: Do they make an extention piece FOR this item it's ok for a conservatory but no use for house gutters.

The ProGutter scraper and right angle adapter both screw on to the Harris range of paint roller extenders. If you buy the scraper and right angle extension with Harris 5 meter extension offered on Amazon then there is ample length to reach the gutters on a two storey house from ground level (I have tried it) but it is a little unwieldy to handle.

Q: How do they actually clean an upstairs gutter when you don' t have ladders. It seems that all they can do is push the debris from side to side?

The scraper does not pick debris up but enables you to move leaves etc to a position where you could extract them by hand or with a trowel and tip that into a bucket. You are correct that a ladder would be required to do that unless the property is a bungalow with outside corners so that you could flick the leaves out. Messy. It looks like ladders or get someone to do it for you. Good luck.

As long as the pole has a universal/ acme thread it should fit.
