Easy to do and a great way to pass time and complete something beautiful.

If you love cross stitch and tarot- BUY THIS. I love the ease of use but I wish it came with a hoop. These are a bit on the large size (yay!) but you could use any sized hoop.

I finally finished this, it took me 3 months. This is the longest I've ever spent on a cross stitch project.The good:The materials are fairly quality - the thread is not prone to pilling or tangling and the AIDA is sturdy.The colors are beautiful and I enjoy the artwork. This image is by a UK designer named Rhi James that lives in Perth, Australia. I hope it was used with permission of HEBE STUDIO, but I found this out by searching, rather than the artist being credited.The colors washed off completely and the piece is nice.The bad:Curious if others had this issue, but I had a TON left of some of the colors but ran out of two colors completely. The thread is labeled and DNC color codes, so not catastrophic, but slightly annoying to have to get additional materials to complete.While it is still pretty completed, the scene is a bit... grainy/ blurry. It's very "impressionistic". The original art has very contrasting blobs of color, which adds to the charm of this style of art and this is a bit lost on the completed piece -- much of the foreground is hard to decipher.It would have been nice if the edges were serged or secured in some manner like other kits I have compelted are.The green and blue ink are very difficult to tell the difference on the stamped ink. I used a lighted magnifying glass to decipher / used the printed pattern. The pattern is also complete confetti in many areas, which is really frustrating and likely the reason I ran out of some of the thread. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but good embroidery patterns do clean up the confetti a bit better so you can stitch smarter, not harder and the last 50 or so stitches took me a week to complete due to the amount of confetti.

I got nervous with limited reviews but well worth it and love how they turned out. I do put my own spin on them and love showing them off because it looks so expensive

I got the Hogwarts crest I love itIt's sooo cute and relaxing to do I did run it to one problem on the Gryffindor one I didn't have any thread for number 8 but I had a lot of number 9 but I tried to fix it with color I had left over but other then that it's been great

I used to do a lot of cross-stitching back in the day and wanted to reintroduce myself to cross-stitching. I chose this kit because it was marketed toward beginners and the animal pictures weren't childish. I looked at both the paper pattern and the stamped pattern and can't tell if any other stitch, such as a back stitch, is required. I also noticed that the background is stamped to be filled in. The fabric is white cloth, so why in the world stamp the entire background to be stitched? I've never encountered a pattern in which the background is to be filled in entirely with stitches, especially when the cloth and the background are the same color. I plan on stitching the animals in their entirety; however, I'm not stitching the background. I just hope that the god-awful yellow stamped background will wash out.I think that if one follows the instructions and fills in the background, it's too big of a project for beginners. I'm not what you'd consider a beginner, and I'm discouraged by it.
