FOLUBAN Modern Computer Desk, Rustic Wood and Metal Writing Desk, Vintage PC Table for Home Office, Oak 55 inch

This desk was one of the better ones I saw online for similar price range. The box arrived quickly with no damage. The desk top is one piece of wood with a veneer on it. Assembly went quicker with 2 people but could have been done by one person. Took about 25 minutes total (with occasional interruptions). The metal parts are fairly good quality for this price range. The instructions provided were easy enough that we were able to assemble it in under 30 minutes and had pictures to assist. I am very happy with how it turned out. It goes well with the decor of the rest of my home. The desk top is a nice smooth surface and provide plenty of workspace. Highly recommend.

I'd been looking for a desk for a few months. My criteria not too big, easy to assemble, sturdy, looked good and less than $350; this one checked all the boxes. It's a little more industrial looking than my typical style but I don't mind. The instructions recommend two people for assembly but I put it together myself in about 40 minutes (weighs under 40 lbs). The instructions are clear and well written. It's sturdy, fits the area in my office well, has plenty of space for my monitors, laptop, etc. I wish it had built in drawers but I can find a small cabinet to put under the desk towards the side which will provide extra storage. I highly recommend.

When I purchased this desk on December 30th 2019 I got it on sale for $120 and I have to say that for what I got and after 6 months of using it, I would pay the now $150 asking price knowing from experience that it's pretty much worth the money.In the pictures included with this review you can see one of them has a triple monitor setup.Those monitors combined were by no means light weight, and they were connected to a vesa mount that was clamped to the back edge of the desk right in the middle.It was like that ever since I got it up until just a couple days ago when I modified my setup to what you see in the second picture that has only two monitors.After all this time, there is no bowing at the middle of the desk.The metal cross bars that go across underneath the top at the back and at the front of the desk have done their jobs like a pro making it stay rigid and sturdy and keeping it from bowing after six months.While the top itself is an MDF, it is a fairly high quality MDF and has stayed in shape after all this time.It seems to be well sealed. I live near the beach in southern California, and so it can get humid at times with lots of moisture in the air, not to mention that when my PC was underneath the desk, it could at times exhaust quite a good amount of heat putting some decently hot air up underneath it, and so far it has yet to show any signs of warping, peeling, swelling, or any kind of general weathering.The metal frame has also stayed in shape as well, and has showed no signs of bending on the legs and such.This desk, while at first glance seemingly cheap, is actually surprisingly sturdy and durable and has performed admirably with all that I put it through.The size model that I personally bought was the 47" model.I cannot speak for the larger 55" model but based on my experience with the 47" I can only assume that the experience would be the same with the larger version.And even at $150 I would say that this desk is worth it over some of the other not so good looking options for a similar price.If you want a decently sized desk to put in your room that is slim and low profile and you want it to hold up to you mounting things like heavy monitors like I did and/or putting a PC on top of it, I would highly recommend this desk.On a side note, the MDF top of this desk is thick enough AND dense enough that I could screw some short screws into it underneath to them mount a power strip, and the screws hold in tightly.I expect to be using this desk for a long time to come unless I end up coming into some serious cash that would allow me to build my own custom PC case desk with a glass top LOL.In fact, for the price as I stated even now, when I move into a new place that has an extra room, I will buy the larger version of this desk for sure so that I can use it as a table top for shooting videos for all kinds of things for my YouTube channel, as well as for any live videos I do on Twitch where I want to point a camera down at what I'm doing for others to watch such as building a PC, taking apart and cleaning a game console, or anything else really.Dear FOLUBAN,You have made me a happy and loyal customer, I will be recommending this product to other people when it comes to mentioning a great budget desk option. I lovr the desk. I needed the 55 inch version to fit between the windows. It was easy to put together with decent directions although I had to redo the orientation of one of the legs. It took me longer to put together because I’m old and couldn’t get down on my knees. Younger and with a second pair of hands, assembly would be a snap! Definitely under 30 minutes.The reason I gave only four stars is that I was obviously given a returned item. The old shipping labels had been removed by cutting out the top layer of the box with a razor blade, and inside was a return authorization slip complete with the person’s name, address, and phone number!! The parts were all there, and I thought nothing was damaged until I finished putting the desk together. Since during the assembly process the desktop is face down, I didn’t see the crack in the corner. Thankfully it is in the back right corner, not very noticeable, and I am not going to return it after all the work putting it together. Just examine the top carefully before putting it together. I almost bought the end table version for a printer stand, but it would have been too low for me. I would love a desk height version in a smaller size for my printer and copier.

This desk is super sturdy! It was easy to put together, and it holds everything I need without rocking or moving. I have two 22” monitors, a laptop, phone and keyboard. I cannot open my laptop screen due to my phone taking up the extra room, but I don’t need it, so that does not bother me. There was a small indent/nick in the table top, but luckily I was able to place it in the back and I don’t even see it with everything on my desk, so it wasn’t worth taking a star off. I will say, the reviews on the color were correct, this is more of a grey/tan (kind of a washed out tan), and for me, I love the color, it looks weathered which is a nice look. But be prepared it is not the exact tan color that is depicted in the picture. I read the reviews and saw that the color was more of a grey/tan, and to me it did not matter, so again, I am not taking off any stars for it. Overall I am very pleased with this table. I wanted something extremely sturdy and this does the job!

The desk is well sized, easy to put together, looks nice, was affordable, and well packaged. What more could you ask for?

Decided to move my current situation off of my dining room table and bought this product. If it perfectly into a niche in my home, I am able to have a large monitor and large printer as well as enough room to work on. It is lightweight but very sturdy. The price was also good.

Great desk! Very sturdy and very easy and simple to put together! I have the small one and my boyfriend has the larger one. We absolutely love!
