Very sturdy and a great value. Countertop company was going to charge me 3x what I paid for these. Would recommend.

Nothing is bringing our countertop down with these supporting it.
We used these to support a little bar. I wanted brackets that I wasn't going to hit my knee on but didn't have to worry about someone plopping their behind on the counter and pulling the counter off the wall. These are strong, heavy, very sturdy brackets. We just installed these today so I'll update the review in a few months. So far super happy with them.

Considerable flex for 3/8 steel
I'm surprised by the amount of flex in these. I have never been able to flex 3/8 flat bar in lengths this short before. I put them under Laminate counters, I imagine if you were doing stone it would be a bad combo... the first overly ambitious friend hopped up to sit on you island and you'd be in trouble.

Quality issues
I ordered two of these sets at different time. Both came with scratches and knicks on them. Ended up sanding and repainting. Packaging needs to be improved.
