The box is 8 x 36 inches, it brings all the tools you need to set up the box. The set up was pretty easy just make sure that when making the base don't put the 2 sticks that go across until you attach the base to the pieces if wood as it prevents the base from reaching the holes to be able to attach it all together. The instructions can be a tiny bit confusing but you will get what im saying as you are putting it all together. Over all set up was easy I just needed some help flipping the base and the table at the end. The table looks very nice! It is sturdy (just make sure your floor is balanced. It is worth the money!

It was easy to assemble and the finish (grey) is attractive. The bonus was the ability to have the leaf hidden under the table. A criticism is that one of the legs was dented and the table to is higher than usual. Not comfortable.

I love it

I spent a long time looking for that perfect kitchen table, literally weeks on Amazon. This I determined to be the best value overall of all I've looked at, for some one who wants a big table for occasional guests, but the ability to reduce the size for other times. It's sturdy and came undamaged. Chairs can't be pushed in all the way due to the bar near the floor, which is necessary for strength.
