Hillsdale Fleur de Lis Backless Swivel Bar Stool, 30", Distressed Cherry with Copper Highlights

We ordered 3, very high quality however the screws came out of one and the top was wobbly after 2 months of little use. Customer service was great, we had to tear the material off the bottom and take it apart and fix it. But I feel they would have worked with us if that didn’t fix it. I really love them. They are a very large bar stool tho, make sure you measure your space.

I purchased 4 of these beautiful bar stools. They are very large, comfortable and stunning. The swivel is very smooth and they seem well made, heavy and sturdy. They were packaged well and came fully assembled...gorgeous!

We bought these as part of a Kitchen/dining room remodel. The chairs are well built and come in one piece. They are esthetically pleasing to the eye. The stools were larger than we expected, but they are so comfortable and work well in the space so we kept them. We have received many compliments. No cons really, but the Copper Highlights, is just that, (copper stains over chair). We would recommend them even for the price as I think would last a good long time.

At first I was a bit hesitant as it's a fairly expensive bar stool. Yes, there are many others listed that are a little similar in style but they just look...well, less impressive. While the description states "assembly required" mine came fully assembled with excellent packaging. Aside from cutting off the foam padding around the ends of the legs it was good to go. Also, yes, I searched numerous other sites for a better price and Amazon had them all beat but quite a bit. In the long run, I'm happy I paid the extra money to have something with "wow factor" and seems well-built.

I am so disappointed with the quality of these stools. We purchased 4 of them ($400 each) and within a couple of years, 3 of the 4 footrests had broken. When I contacted Hillsdale Furniture, they told me they would not do anything to correct this problem. Buyer beware… they look nice but the quality is very poor. When we purchased these stools initially, we thought we were purchasing quality furniture to last for years to come. It's even more disappointing when companies don't stand behind their products when this is what their website states…."Without quality materials, even the best furniture designs will age and wear. At Hillsdale, our designs are manufactured to strict quality standards that guarantee you years of beauty and enjoyment. Whether wood and glass or stone or metal, you can count on having our furniture as a part of your family for years to come." So much for their guarantee for years of beauty and enjoyment. :(

These are just awesome in style and craftsmanship. Nice big seat area and very very sturdy.. You know these are Cherry wood with leather seat.. WOW

Packaging was awesome. Already assembled. Just need to remove wrapping around the feet. They are absolutely Gorgeous!!! Well made. Bigger than expected. Masculine. Sexy. Thick leather seat wide enough for larger guests without worry on comfort.

‘I love the comfort, the sturdiness and how easy the swivel.We got two a couple years ago and had to order another set to complete the island in the kitchen.Classic, durable and good quality item’this was my comment a year ago. Few months later the swivel mechanism started to fail; there were loose screw caps which were not tightened when assembled. We could not take the staples out of the fabric, to be able to crew them ourselves. The solution we came up with was to cut the fabric underneath the seat in four, locate the screw caps, tighten them and we used some tape to fasten the fabric, until I can purchase fabric and fabric glue to finish the bottom and make it look better.
