The media could not be loaded.  My step dad is a retired electrician for over 40 years. When I came across this product it reminded me of the times we would strip copper wire using the wire stripper pliers. Sometimes I would choose the wrong setting and end up having to redo it until I finally got it right. I remember how I would have to twist the pliers around in a circular motion to splice the wire coating just so gently and then pulling off the plastic coating to reveal the length of exposed wire we needed to get a particular project done. It was tedious for sure.I’ve done a lot of home improvement projects over the years and I wish I had come across this product years ago. Simply just for the Drill Wire Nut Twister. I’ve installed ceiling fans where they come with wireless remotes and receiver boxes and you have such a tiny cavity to place the wireless receiver in place as well as the six wires. You’re trying to cram all these capped wires inside an insane small amount of space and 9 times out of 10 one of those wire nuts are going to twist loose or the wire twists loose as well. This Wire Nut Twister eliminates that issue and it will save you a lot of time, cussing, aggravation and unwanted stress! I will definitely use this product for that reason alone.Now some negative aspects of this product. Inside the carrying case I feel they could have done a better job. For the price point I think this should come with a quality case and proper cutouts to fit each tool and accessory. It just felt cheap and half done if I’m being honest. Also the sizes for the wire strippers I think could be more smaller so they would work on the typical wiring you would come across inside your home such as an electrical outlet, a ceiling fan, etc. For that reason I don’t see how often I would use these unless there was larger wiring that I needed to work with and strip. Also the size of wiring is measured in gages and I’m not sure why the measurements state 6.0 SQ? I don’t think the average American would know what that means. I don’t.Other than that I recommend this product. Thanks Hanachi!

Great idea but quality does not match.1st - The instructions leave a lot to the imagination which, for a person with little experience with tools, can be truly frustrating.2nd - Two of the 'stripper' units did not have their threads cleaned and were almost impossible to get threaded onto the base unit.3rd - Getting the depth adjusted is not as easy as they show, it took quite a bit of trial and error to finally get the depth set.4th - if you need to change a blade be aware that the screw is reversed threaded. In other words, they turn to the right to loosen and to the left to tighten.Once all that was sorted out I was able to strip some wiring quite easily and cleanly.Overall this is a very handy tool that just needs a bit of quality control.

This is a very cool device to make wire stripping easy and more precise. Before I got this I always messed up and cut through and snip the wires which after awhile makes the cable dangerously shorter and shorter. This tool works with any drill and kind of shaves the cable sleeve like a sharpener. Instructions could be more clear but I was able to find helpful instructions with some searching on the web.

For my whole life I have been stripping wires with traditional wire strippers and twisting the ends of wires together using a pair of pliers and/or wire nuts. Regular strippers work just fine, but they can be a little tricky and it never goes real fast. These strippers are a real help depending upon the situation. For relatively straight wires, they work quickly and easily to strip the wire. Of course, you need to set everything up (have a cordless drill ready and attach the stripper holder and the proper sized stripper head) and that takes a little more effort than keeping a traditional stripping tool in your pocket. They use a hex shank quick release device, so changing out the stripper size goes really fast. The wire twister is a little tricky to use, but it too does a good job once you get the hang of it. Of course, it too requires a cordless drill to work it. Everything comes organized in a nice little plastic blow molded case. This really helps so you have it at hand when you need it. Overall, this is a nice set and I recommend it highly.

I ordered this for my son, he said that the instructions doesn't show what size wire goes with which cutter so he had to guess. He also mentioned that you need to be working with a good length of wire to start with since it needs to grab on to a good portion of it in order for it to work and since it's metal you have to be extra careful if your working with live wires in a box. Under certain conditions this would be a great tool to have, but not for everyday situations where, for example, your re stripping existing wires.

I was very surprised with this product. The way it strips the wire like a pencil sharpener is really cool. It works well. If it's in any drill. Makes the tedious process of stripping the wires very easy. Me and my husband both love. It has come in very handy in the barn we are putting electrical in. I will be recommending to family and friends. Joy

Looks to be well made and works well to strip the sheathing from electrical wire. It comes in a nice little case and will strip wires of 3 different gauges and also comes with a wire twisting tool too. This should help me strip electrical wire and twist them up tight for when I'm doing my DIY electrical projects around the house.Would recommend.

I always have trouble stripping wires with the handheld tool, so this Wire Stripping and Twisting Tool is going to be great for me......I really like tools that come in a storage box and this kit has everything I will ever need to complete a job.
