Amazon Brand – Rivet Farr Lotus Accent Chair, 39.8"W, Canary

I have no regrets in buying this chair. In fact, I'm considering whether I have room for another one. I bought it for meditating in b/c I like to sit cross-legged and it's very comfortable for that. Then I liked it so much that I actually moved it to my desk to work from. I like the height off the ground: not too low. I'm 5'7" and it's a good fit for sitting regular, with feet on the ground, as well. Very pretty fabric. I was very wary of buying this on amazon, and I waited for months with it in my wish list. So glad I got brave and got it! It came with no assembly required. It's slightly heavier than I expected, but I actually like that--it feels very well made and like it will last awhile. Because of the slanted side arms, it has a wider footprint than you might expect, so do the measurements if space is an issue. With that said, I would happily get rid of other furniture to fit this in. :)

Looks every bit as good in person as it does in the photos. Very comfortable whether your feet are on the floor or your legs are folded under you (there's plenty of room to sit criss-cross!), and the chair back is just the right angle for good support. (If you're a lot taller than average, you may feel differently.) Feels sturdy and well constructed. There's no assembly to do, just unwrap and put it where you want it. The fabric is a pleasant texture to touch. Nice touch of style for a sitting space. I have nothing but good things to say. Maybe it could've been cheaper, but overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this chair in May of this year. Though there were a few difficulties getting it delivered (no-contact delivery complicated things a bit) it showed up fully assembled and I just had to drag it inside and take the box off. I say "take the box off" because this thing is pretty wide (it's a bit awkward to lift) so I wasn't able to take it out of the box on my own. Regardless, I can still easily move it around as it's not too heavy. I enjoy the wideness of the chair, in fact, and this was one of the reasons I purchased it. Two people can sit together in it but I wouldn't call it comfortable. For one person, however, you can sit in all sorts of fun positions (cross-legged, sideways, or slumped over like I always do) and have a good amount of room.The canary color is also quite unique, and the fabric and construction feel high-quality. I've been sitting in the chair regularly since May and there's a slight depression in the cushion now, but that's to be expected. The cushion is on the firmer side (you won't sink into this chair) but, again, I enjoy that. I would recommend a small throw pillow, though, for a bit more support.When I purchased my chair, it was significantly cheaper then it is the day of this review (by at least $200.00). As such, I'd keep an eye on the price - I probably couldn't afford it at its current price. I would still recommend this chair to anyone who asks, however, I am very happy with my purchase :)

Amazon has recently entered the furniture market with their own lines of furniture; "Rivet" for mid-century styles, and "Stone & Beam" for the classics. Despite being fairly new, they have made quite the entrance.The simple yet bold design of this chair is one that you can appreciate, without tiring of easily. The skinny steel legs contrast the size of the chair itself, giving the chair a floating effect. The cushioning is firm and supple, providing the necessary ergonomic support for sustained lounging. You can of course, sit in it normally, but the largeness of the seating area allows for you to position yourself sideways, or even cross legged.The material, as others have said, is reminiscent of a soft denim, a nice balance of comfort and durability. I chose the canary yellow fabric and find that it offers just enough color to be lively, without becoming gaudy.Shipping was quick. Amazon will arrange a delivery time with you as you have to sign for it. I was able to move it up a flight of stairs on my own and fit it through the doorway without much stress.

I loved the look of this chair and there was nothing else like this! I've had this chair for 5 months now. It's wide enough that I can sit cross-legged and one of my 55-65 lbs dogs can jump up and cuddle with me in it! The fabric and cushioning have held up wonderfully. The cushion levels were accurate. You do sit a little lower and it's about medium cushioning.The only reason I docked a star was because despite the unique and comfortable design, it was an extreme pain to get in through doors, which it is absolutely necessary to take it out of the box by the way. I'm serious. It's so awkward for two people to carry inside and then getting it through each door took a full couple minutes to figure out. Definitely do not recommend trying to get this through narrow hallways. Carrying this in is not a one-person job.

I've been pining for this chair for years, and I'm glad I bought it. It's a beautiful color and the fabric feels very sturdy. Plus, it has held up under my dogs standing on it to look out of the window. That having been said, it picks up fur like crazy, and it's not the softest chair in the world. But I like sitting in to work, especially since it accommodates my preference for sitting cross-legged.
