Perfect chess set for the road. I slotted a clock in the the case and keep this in my car so I have a chess set everywhere I go.Nice silicone one b9ard, no creases, and quadruple weighted Staunton style pieces.

dislike the Fold lines in the board but i understand after playing a game the pieces level it out and its not an issue visibly-over all a Wonderful set with its carrying case and over all ease of setup and quality.Thank you!!would love wooden pieces in the future to compliment this board..

This set surprised me by being heavier than I expected, and this is a good thing. The pieces are very nicely weighted and full sized. It's difficult to find a decent chess set that has traditionally shaped pieces that are weighted and feel nice, especially without going into the very expensive range.I got this to make into a small travel kit and added some dice and cards to the carrying case that has plenty of room, and it's perfect for the task. I am excited to play outside on it sometime.Pros:- Excellent piece shape, very traditional with no weird surprises.- Pieces are HEAVY and feel nice in the hand, some of the best chess pieces I've ever seen in this range.- Mat is heavy duty and large - this is a portable chess board for sure and it's for a big game, appropriate for a chess in the park game or even tournament play.- Mat is labeled a-h and 1-8 for easy move reference.- Carrying case is perfectly sized and fits all components with a little spare room.- Comes with 2 bags for the pieces, a dark and a light one, which are very nice little bags.- Each set comes with 2 queens, which is a classy move since often a promoted piece is made into a queen.Cons:- NoneOverall this is a 10/10 chess set for me. It makes me feel bad for having bought chess sets at near this price in the past and gotten terribly cheap pieces or a bad board, I really like this one!
