We can't have a log fire, and have searched for a fire to give us the extra heat aswell as effect of a fire.We brought a few styles and all had faults.This fire is fabulous, it looks great, is the perfect size and easy to clean and maintain and we don't find the noise of the fire loud, especially in a busy chaotic home.We had a missing handset but amazon customer service was great and although we had a replacement sent out by the manufacturer it still doesn't work.This doesn't make much issue for us and we may try and purchase a handset at a later date.We absolutely love this Dimplex fire!

The media could not be loaded. So after waiting 7years to be able to get a Dimplex opti mist I finally was able to buy one. So you can imagine my upmost disappointment and disbelief when I opened the box, took out the fire and at the bottem on the packing was a screw. On investigation where this could have come from I found two legs not secure, a third almost tight and one I was actually happy with. I'm quite a forgiving person so I tried my best to put the screw back but to no avail. All the self tapping screws are just screwed into really thin metal so once they are loose forget it, they just turn with nothing to grip onto. If using thin metal why not use nuts, washer and bolts for goodness sake! As I was picking it up to pack away for return the foot came off completely. All I can say is thank goodness I wasn't actually using it at the time and not returning it.Pure cost cutting at its worst. Now am a really peeved off customer who very rarely puts down a bad review, who will have to wait again to get a fire, its even started to put me off dimplex. To be honest you pay quite alot of money just to get steam looking like a fire but I really did like them.

We love this. The water container does need topping up nearly every day if you want the smoke effect for any length of time but it looks great. We love the white colour

The smoke effect is amazing but the logs are so plastic looking it spoils the overall appearance of the fire. Haven't had to use it for heat yet but tried it to make sure it worked. It's not entirely quiet but not so noisy to be annoying. Think it's a bit over priced.

Great fire

It does what it’s meant to do. It’s warm, looks good when just using the flame effect, so happy with this product. It is a bit plastic looking though.

Sadly never worked from the box . Only glowed no mist or flame effect . Heater came on ok but to be honest components inside fire looked cheap .

Looks good. Works fine. Lovely little fire with a pretty realistic flame for an electric fire.
