Turned out well
Made these with 5 grandchildren. Needed adult supervision, but all did well. Youngest is 5 and she was so proud of her creation. We created the design on paper first which made the placement easier and without regrets. Kit is complete. Don’t put unused product down your sink! It’s cement. Would buy again.

Lots of room for improvement but the results are lovely
Everything you need to make 4 mosaic tile coasters is in this set. There are 4 of everything, including 4 bags of assorted tiles. There’s a pattern that you can use with the specific tiles in each bag. However there were no patterns in the box. I had to use the pics on the Amazon page as a guide, but the coasters are a tiny bit smaller than the measurements in the description, so you can’t fit all the tiles in the same way as the ones in the pics. Plus, there were a lot of cheap plastic beads in the bag with the tiles. Star shaped ones with holes drilled in them, and small round yellow ones that looked like cut-in-half Mardi Gras beads. I didn’t even bother using the star beads but I did use the smaller round ones to fill in gaps where a tile wouldn’t fit.The instructions are scant and a bit confusing. It’s pretty obvious how to make the coasters, but the part where you put in the caulk should be explained better. Here’s what I did:The bags of powder are about 2 tablespoons, and I added 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons of water, I think that’s the correct consistency. Mix until smooth. Spread it all over the coaster, make sure to fill in all the spaces, then let it sit for about 30 minutes. Next, wet the sponge and squeeze it well, and gently wipe the coaster to clean off the tiles and smooth out any rough spots of caulk. Also make sure the wooden edges and bottom are clean! Rinse the sponge as often as necessary to clean off all the excess caulk. Then let it air dry for at least 12 hours. I waited 24 to check mine, and they were dry and the caulk had hardened.I finished 3, still working on the 4th. It took me a long time to get these finished, but I think they came out very pretty. I used a tiny bit of blue food coloring in the caulk of one of the coasters, as you can see.I had to use tweezers to move the tiles around. I think they should include some in the set.So, fix the instructions, add pictures of patterns, add tweezers, and ditch the cheap plastic beads. I only took off 1 star because the coasters did come out great, despite the challenges.

Wonderful mosaic kit
We love these kids from Amazon. They aren’t bright and colorful and a good value. Easy to put together.

Used with elderly adults-a hit
I bought two sets to use with a group of elderly adults. it was a challenge for them to lift the small mosaic glass, but they persevered. The kit comes with everything for each person to complete one coaster. I only had to provide the water to mix the grout. The glue dries in a reasonable amount of time and each coaster is different enough that each person could recognize their own. Great set!
