Product Description ------------------- Stratego Conquest is the only version of the game where you can play 1-on-1 or up to 4 players – who will conquer to rule the land? The format remains the same as the original gameplay as you need to conquer and capture your nent’s in order to be victorious – but will you be able to do so with more than one nent? For those new to the original Statego game, developed by Jacques Mogendorff at the beginning of the Second World War. Jumbo has been making Stratego since 1958 and has sold over 20 million copies all over the world. The of the game is simple – capture your nent’s . The capturing is more difficult. You have varying levels of expertise to call on – headed by the Marshal who leads his troops, aided by a whose one mission is to destroy the sing Marshal! Six bombs are available – but both sides have Miners who can defuse a bomb if they find it. Each side has forty playing pieces which must be set up – in secret – ahead of the game. The set up can determine whether you win or lose so you need to think about where you are going to place the various levels, and if you don’t win you can learn by your mistakes and become less vulnerable. As your skills develop, so does your chance of winning. A booklet, with full instructions on how to play and enjoy Stratego, is included with the set. You can play just the basic game of Stratego, if you wish, but once you have mastered it, this edition also offers six variations on play – adding to the challenge, and the enjoyment of the game.
