When we adopted our energetic kitten, Miso, we quickly realized that keeping her entertained and safe while we were busy was going to be a challenge. Enter the Tailtastic Pet Playpen with Surround Tunnel. I was intrigued by its design, offering not just a safe space but a built-in adventure with its surround tunnel.The true test came when we had a family barbecue. We set up Miso’s new playpen in the garden, hoping it would keep her occupied and out of trouble while we entertained. It was a hit! Miso was absolutely thrilled with the tunnel, darting in and out and pouncing at the soft sides, which stood up remarkably well to her sharp claws. The breathable mesh meant she could watch us and feel involved, all while staying secure in her little play area.Not only did it keep her safe, but it also made her the center of attention among our guests, who loved watching her playful antics. The playpen is now referred to as "Miso’s Adventure Zone" in our house. It's easy to set up both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for any situation where you need your pet to stay put but still want them to have fun. We can’t imagine how we managed before we got it!

I bought this product to keep my 7-month-old kitten confined while I was at work. It's big enough that I can put a litter box, a couple of toys, and a small water dish in the front half and his pillow and blanket in the back half. He really enjoys sitting in the tunnel. The downfall is that the mesh tunnel is very easily chewed through and/or Claude part. He has gotten out several times by making holes in the tunnel and I've had to zip tie them back together. I had a feeling this would happen, but for the most part it does contain him. I would not recommend putting more than one or possibly two cats if they get along in the tent. I would also not recommend putting your cat in the tent and putting it outside as they can very easily escape. Another downfall is if you take the tunnel off there's no way to block the holes that the tunnel connects to the tent with. You would have to find a piece of cloth and attach it in some way to the tent to block the hole. I won't say that it's not worth getting but just be aware of these little problems. All in all all three of my cats like it and if I leave the top unzipped occasionally I will find that they choose to just go in there and nap. But when I am at work for the day I make sure that only my kitten is in the tent.

It was not delivered as pictured. The back tunnel hole was on the left side, but the front tunnel hole was on the right side. The tunnel cannot attach, because it's too short. Not sure how this fabrication defect even occurred. It's unusable because it won't contain the kittens. I have to return it.

Did not hold up 😫 but great size. Now it’s on the back porch for the kittens to play in. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bought this because my rescue cat turned out to be pregnant. I have other cats and dogs and didn't want any issues or mama getting stressed. This was perfect. I put a small liter box on one side, a bed for her and babies and her food and water on the other side. The large had the perfect amount of space. As the kittens got older I left the mess door on top of the shorter side open so she could jump out but they couldn't. The mess tube was perfect and allowed the babies to interact with the other pets but sturdy enough to protect them. We have an 12 week old kitten that was too rough with play and they could still play through the mesh. But the metal slinky inside, keeps the tub from collapsing on them and was the perfect buffer. Now that the kittens are weening it's great to separate mom temporarily or keeping them contained at night or when guests are over.

It's a great product it's just to big for my patio..

We purchased this to help introduce our new kitten to our senior cats. She loved the tunnel and it has lots of room for a litter box and cat bed. It was easy to clean as well. The only issue was putting it together it was a struggle to attach the tunnel to the main part because of the zippers. But we figured it out in the end and I would still recommend.
