Can these be trimmed as my window is only 34 inches in length

Yes they trim from the bottom, there is a template enclosed and they don't fray. I have had two sets without any problems

Is the size the actual size of the blind or the window size it will fit

The size is actual size of blind when stretched out. if window is 4 foot wide you need 8 foot wide blinds

How many would i need for a 2metre wide window please? Im not sure how pleated they need to be

I bought these a while ago now for 2 small windows (both 24" wide). Each blind was approx. 6" wider than the window & gave a nice pleated effect without being too bunched up. I can't recall the various options available so it would be best to give your measurements to the seller, & ask advice on what/how much to order.

can you see into the room at night if light is on with this blind?
