This water softener was super easy to install. For us, we did have to extend our water lines a little and install the correct connectors, but this is something that would be easy for a handyman, savvy diyer, or plumber to do. Once installed, setup was fairly easy, with the only issue being that the display was in japanese, and we couldn't figure out how to switch it to english. Thankfully, we were able to use a translate app to translate the display while we worked. Nothing in the instructions (which were in english) or manufacturer's web page indicated how we would be able to change the language, but they do show pictures of the display in english, so it must be possible somehow. Fortunately, once it is set up, there is little need to change the settings. Overall, we're happy with it, just wish we could get the display in english.

I had to purchase additional fittings, see picture one. It took my nephew about 45 minutes to install. I saw where some people had a problem with the language, however mine came up in English with no problem at all. It also came with handy test strips to check the status of the water. I found that to be a desirable item. The hardest part for me was getting someone to install it. The video instructions were invaluable for the setup. This is a great item that I am happy to add to my household.

ordered and installed according to company instructions. after a 2 month period unit was not softening our water and still completely full of salt even though unit would go through a brine cycle just fine. reached out to company and am now going on my 4th message sent for support.

The water softener is great building quality! Pretty solid and heavy, it holds 3 bags of salts and could be more. I hired someone to install it for me since our house doesn’t have water main pipe accessible in garage. The display was showing in English before hook up, but after installed it was showing in Chinese, we looked throughout the manual and didn’t find any way to switch it back. Luckily I know someone can read Chinese he translated for us and successfully set everything perfectly.

This is a quality made item that looks good, is compact and easy to install. Finding a suitable spot is the most challenging part of the installation. Ideally this should be near the main shut off where your water service enters your home. In any event, hookup is simple and straight forward. You'll need a source for salt on an ongoing basis, so check your local hardware or big box store. You'll feel the results almost immediately. Water run through a water softener just feels better. A worth while upgrade to your plumbing system.
