First impression-I am pleased with this kit. It is one of those Maikuni carbs that come in the metal box. I thoroughly inspected the carb inside and out and it looks really nicely done.The carb came jetted with a 110 main and 38 pilot. That should be a pretty good starting point. The power jet was turned closed. That's fine, those are mostly for 2 strokes and this is going on a 212cc Predator 212 4 stroke.I really like that the extra jets in the kit are legibly numbered. I got a stock carb where they weren't and what a pain.This carb would get 5 stars on the first impression, but the carb adapter doesn't fit the Predator. It came up in a Predator search, and the carb should work great for it, but you need to get a Predator intake for it.Second impression- Still very happy with it. The engine started right up and ran good with the jets right out of the box. Can't wait for the test ride.

Nice little carb for the lit bike. Easy adjustments. Was able to put it on an older SSR. Started right up. Fits a little tight because of the spacing, but it still fit. Nice upgrade from a stock one.

SHOULD BE APPLICATION SPECIFIC.Got the carb for a honda XR150L.I had to modify the throttle cable, but then found out that the carb booth does not lineup with the cylinder port. I tried anyway, but the bike wouldn't start.I had to buy a new throttle cable to go back to the stock carb.

Replaced nibbi carb with this on atv. Nibbi is a nice carb, but idle and low rpm was always an issue that I couldn't adjust or jet to resolve. This carb fixed issue right out of the box. Seams to be built just as good as the nibbi.
