Close quarters soldering inside an interior wall lined with paper backed mortar / wire. Kept anything from catching fire and did not appear blemished in any manner upon completion.

Perfect for my suppressor
My suppressor gets real hot when practicing and melts covers-a strip of this allows me to grab my suppressor and unscrew it! Great product -impaired it with a cheap air gun suppressor and VOILA heat resistant suppressor cover without breaking the bank!

Great product
I'm in the middle of a bathroom renovation and I've needed to sweat off multiple plumbing joints and protect surrounding pipes or walls. I've had no issue with the blanket using a map torch.

It smokes but it doesn't burn
It works as intended .. Torch flame was directly on it and it did not burn .. but it did smoke ...Good enough you only need it on occasion

Small Fire Blanket
This is a small felt like fire blanket meant for sliding. This won't catch on fire and helps protect whatever surface you're working on. I am only learning welding, so this is more than enough for me at this point. If I get really into it, I'll invest more. These seem like a decent choice for small work.
