Let’s face it. This is a terrible wheel design - flat black wheels that extend farther than the tires. It’s a recipe for ugly, scraped up wheels. Every Tesla Performance car I see on the road has terrible curb rash on the wheels. So when I ordered my car, I bought these wheel protectors before it arrived and they were the first after-market accessory I installed. They were a breeze to install - just add the tape, peel off the backing, and snap them onto the wheels. Just make sure you start by snapping them in place over the valve stem. You only know the wheel covers are there if you know where to look. Very satisfied with this product so far!

Very pleased with these in terms of the quality and color match. Each cover installed snugly without needing the included padding strips. Have recommended these to my friends that also own Teslas.

I dont usually write reviews but figured I’d share my experience with these. They fit perfectly, I only needed the padding on the rear passenger side rim as it fit slightly loose on it. I had these on for no joke a day and when I moved my car to park closer to my apartment, I nailed the curb. It snapped the piece in half and still caused some damage to my actual rim, but if I didn’t have the protector it would have been much worse. These provide protection for small hits but anything significant will still do some damage.I mainly bought these to cover up the curb rash which these do flawlessly. The color matches perfectly and you can’t tell at all that they’re on, unless you’re a Uberturbine nerd.These are more affordable than many other similar products, and they offer perfect fit and color match. If you’re considering these, don’t think just do. You won’t regret it

Color matched the wheels really well. Took about 10 minutes to install. Most of which was adding the double sided tape to the inside of the rims. Getting one rim repaired costs about the same as a set of 5. Snaps on fairly well with a satisfying click on each spike. Time will tell if they hold. But for the price I can’t complain.

These covers will help make wheels look good and cover up existing curb rash, however the sizing was off for 1 of the 4 received, and caused me to need to return all of them. Removing was not easy and made all of the covers crack. They also will break very easily when cleaning or if any further curb rash occurs. For the price there is likely a higher quality option. Visually these do look very good though.

I recently purchased a Model Y and before I even received it, I had anxiety about the rims on this car. The rim is nearly flush with the side wall of the tire. This means even a light "curb check" is going to eat into the rim. I knew for my own peace of mind that these were necessary.I purchased two other near identical versions of these from other companies. They all look identical; it's as of they all use the same mold.The first set (not EVOOOR) were lighter weight plastic; again the exact same mold/design. The plastic was also more brittle. What's worse is that I threw two of them off on the highway without noticing. Why? The foam, one-sided tape included didn't do any good. It's intended purpose is to apply additional pressure under the cover, pushing outward to create a tighter lock to the rim. Fail!The second set (also not EVOOOR) had the exact same mold/design, had the same low quality plastic and similar one-side foam tape even though there were from a different company. I purchased double-sided 3M VHB tape on my own to install the covers. They held in place perfectly with the added tape. Unfortunately, the thing I feared most happened; a curb check. I was furious because it happened in FSD (ahem, Elon are you there). I drove the rest of the way home stewing over it. When I got home, I found that the rim protector cracked and splintered and basically provided no protection leaving a deep scuff in the rim! Granted, it was a pretty solid, albeit low speed, hit and FSD isn't to blame; it's always the driver making the final decisions. Nevertheless, fail!Set number three; enter EVOOOR. Instantly I could tell that the plastic was different; improved. It was slightly heavier and more notably, it is almost pliable. It has a little give. I can press my thumbnail into it and leave a temporary impression - this is very good news. The covers are slightly flexible. I am confident that had I been using these rim guards, they would have stayed in place and not splintered. They would have taken the brunt of the damage, truly protecting the rim.These EVOOOR rim protectors are SUPERIOR to the other brands. Please learn from my experience.Oh, and that double-sided tape I purchased for the other ones? It's included with EVOOOR's! They know what they are doing!

I got a set of these because I bought a used Model Y with this curb catchers. Mine look pretty good but I went to go clean the wheels one day and I was literally scrubbing the paint off the rim! I needed one of these just to cover the cheap finish on the rims!Anyways, installation was a breeze except for one wheel where I can't get two of the spokes to catch - The protector is about 1 mm too small in diameter. I did use the double-sided tape so hopefully that's enough to keep it on.

This is a dark grey, the OEM Tesla 21" uberturbines on my 2023 Model Y Performance are darker, almost black. Could live with that, but the bigger issue is they don't fit properly. It's almost as if the plastic molding is 1mm too small in diameter so I can get all the bits on -- except two. Once I get those two fixed, another two pop off. The circumference of these plastic protectors needs to be ever so slightly larger (guessing 1-2mm) in order to achieve proper fitment. YMMV

These are grossly over priced for the fitment. Whether there has been a bad batch or something, but 4/5 of the trim clips (that attach to the wheel) were literally were 2-3mm longer and never offered any purchase to the wheel.They were absolutely pointless, and have ended up curbing my wheels as they fly straight off at a slight cough!
