The machine works great once it gets working. It really take alot of water out of the air and you feel it..The only issue I see is the buttons on the side to turn on as most times you have to keep touching in order to turn on.

As I know what most do, I go to the ratings and check before purchasing a product. I looked at most ratings for the WPSOERT dehumidifier and decided to purchase. Was so happy to try another product as I had very bad experience with those I had used before. Ordered and received in ONE day - Yay! it was so easy to hook up. I received and hooked up on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and emptied on July 27, 2024. Good so far! Replaced the drain pan and up to today's date I am unable to just depress the power button to start. The power button is lit, but that all about it! I emailed the company at support@wpsoert.com (as on the packet it asks you to contact if there are any issues or need to return or replace) but the email bounced! I rechecked to ensure that the email address was correct, and it was. I am now contacting AMAZON to return. So disappointed.

I bought this dehumidifier for my 15 year old son to put in his room. His room is a smaller space and gets very humid mixed with his teen boy smell that doesnt go away even if he cleaned it and its been driving me nuts!!. Hes not a fan of opening his window to let in fresh air and just uses a fan. I bought this to combat the humidity and to see if it would help with the smell and to my suprise it did!. On top of that its compact size is perfect for his space, easy for him to use and clean, looks modern and nice, and it runs very quiet even on the normal mode. Im happy with this purchase and wish I did it sooner!

A good little dehumidifier as long as you understand its limitations. The specs here show the dehumidification capacity as 35 pints per day. Nope - no how, no way. I live in Hawaii, where it is constantly humid. The 88 oz. container will go at about 5-8 days before needing to be emptied, depending on relative humidity. If it removed 35 pints a day, I would have to empty it over 6 times a day. But I knew that was an unrealistic figure before I ordered. It is best for small spaces, such as closets, laundry rooms, etc.On the positive side, it is very quiet. I like the option to either manually empty the tank or connect a hose to a drain. And though I expected the colored lights to be corny, it's actually not bad and not too bright, so I kept the lights running. I also like that it's small enough to be placed on a countertop. I didn't want one so large that it had to be on the floor.So overall it's a good little unit for small spaces.

Last summer (2023), my apartment was so humid, even book pages felt wet. Absolutely everything was really kind of gross, it was all so damp. This summer, with the help of this dehumidifier, was wonderfully dry.The machine is very quiet. During the most hot and humid days this summer, I emptied the reservoir once a day, which is a very quick and simple task. Now as we head into fall in Northern New York, I empty it maybe once every three days. And I never have to worry about it overflowing... the machine reliably turns itself off when it's full. Highly recommend.

Definitely not good for 1,000sqf. I have it in a 180sqf laundry room and it does very little foe the humidity while washing/drying. I bought one from menards that is the same size and similar price that removes the moisture in a few hours compared to this at a few days.

The sticker that covers the buttons popped off and has not been able to be put back on so I have to memorize what buttons or what. Other than that it works nice it’s smaller than I thought but it’s true to measurement I should have measured. The dark feature is nice. It doesn’t work as fast as I would like, but it does work.

I’ve ran this unit in many high RH areas and it has not once drawn any moisture from the air. Too late to return for refund so my only option is to throw in the trash

This dehumidifier works great! I bought a different one previously that had a much smaller tank and took much longer to fill the tank, so I'm very happy with this one.
