OBSESSED
Yarn is between worsted/#4 and Dk/#3. I used a 6mm crochet hook for my project and it worked up beautifully. I love the stitch definition and how lightweight it is. Perfect for making clothes. Value for money is also huge plus. It's fluffy and fuzzy, not very stretchy, so I wouldn't choose it for a dress. It would be great for baby blanets, sweaters, cardigans, scarves and related garments. It doesn't easily tangle, but it does snag a bit when frogging/undoing stitches, but not unmanageable. I didn't experience any splitting, and the gradual color change is very satisfying. I just made a second order of the dark purple colorway and I am so excited!

Soft easy-to-work-with yarn.
This is a soft yarn that works great for the lightweight shawl I’m knitting. I found the yarn easy to work with and reliably not splitting. The color gradient is so nice. That I love. I even ordered more for a lightweight afghan.

Love this yarn. So soft and shading is spot on. I want all the colors.

Worth a try - will likely purchase again.
The quality of this yarn is really nice—soft to the touch and perfect for smaller or lightweight projects. It’s recommended for use with a 4mm hook, and I found it worked up beautifully when I made a baby hat and matching booties. For the amount of yarn you get in each cake, the value seems decent. The texture is also a pleasant surprise—it doesn’t give me that weird “ick” feeling that some wool, acrylic, or blended yarns tend to.One point of confusion: the package came with two 6mm hooks, even though the yarn label recommends a 4mm. Not a huge issue, but worth noting. The color gradient is absolutely beautiful—soft transitions and visually rich. Overall, I’d definitely use this yarn again for delicate or cozy projects.

Gentle gradient
I have bought cheaper yarn in the past, and usually color transitions are really fast, and I don't get those nice ombre effects people look for in crochet/knitting projects. However, as someone still new to the hobby, I was not willing to spend $15-30 per cake that nigher end yarns can cost. This is a nice middle-ground; it is definitely higher quality yarn than I can get at my local hobby shops for the price, but definitely not **luxury**.The yarn can feels a little scratchy, thanks to the sparkle strands, but it's not as uncomfortable as some wool or cheaper yarns can be. The sparkly strands kinda make the yarn "fuzzy", which makes frogging an absolute nightmare; if you need to, have thread rippers and pins to pry the yarn apart as well as a lot of patience. I have not had much yarn splitting, but I did occassionally catch a thin strand at the start as I was getting used to the yarn.I did not buy this for the hook; I actually didn't realize the hooks were there until I revisited this page for this review. They are 6.00mm and 6.50mm, and are probably too big for this yarn imo. For my project, I ended up using a 5.50mm hook. I think you could get away with the 6.00mm hook, but the 6.50mm one just seems too large (again, I am new, so take this with a grain of salt). All in all, this yarn was an excellent value (approx $24 at the time I purchased it), and I recommend it for people who have at least a couple small projects under their belt.

Bad quality control
I like the color way and the texture. It works up well. Not too stretchy because it's a combo of cotton, acrylic and wool.It gets 3 stars because there are chunks of undyed wool. The first ball had 2 total. The 2nd has had 6 in the 50 yds. It's also a 3 wgt or DK. Working with a 3.5mm hook. Would use a min 4.5mm for a more drapey effect.I'd buy it again if it was a good sale.

Super Soft and Easy to Work With
I absolutely love this yarn. It is so soft. The ombre doesn't show up quite as well with this stitch, but the colors match up perfectly with each line. This is 5: feet wide with the 3d granny stitch. Definitely will but again. I am planning to do a 5x5: afghan, which will take 11-12 skeins.

Pleasantly surprised
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this yarn and how buttery soft it is. I was afraid that it would be scratchy since it's a wool blend but not at all. Works up smoothly with my crochet hook, very little yarn splitting so would be good for beginners. I saw other reviews stating the colors were hard to match up when starting a new cake but I didn't find this the case at all, the cakes were easy to see what the starting color will be in the middle if you wait to wind them into balls until you need them. I crocheted a sweater with this yarn and I would definitely buy again.
