Lord of the Flies SparkNotes Literature Guide (SparkNotes Literature Guide Series, 42)

Lord of the Flies is a deep book. This was great to help summarize and comprehend each chapter. It's not a replacement for actually reading the book, but a great accompaniment. Highly recommend if you are studying the book for high school.

I bought this book to help my daughter while she was reading Lord of the Flies for school in her 8th grade English class. Personally, I think the book is a bit advanced for 8th grade. However, using these sparks notes along with the corresponding book chapters has helped immensely. Great book! Explains everything very well.

Purchase to help guide for papers and discussion while in school. I love the sparks notes series! I would recommend to any student or parent of a student.

As a substitute teacher I spent a few days last quarter in several classes where this book was being taught. It had been a long time since I read it so I read this up to where they were and then read the chapter they were on to refresh. Worked great, they never knew I cheated!

Sparks notes for Lord of the Flies were a great help when my son (who is in special Ed classes) had to read the book. He has trouble with comprehension and the spark notes are a great tool helping him understand.

This helped so much in reading the book “Lord of the Flies”. Would recommend getting if your child has to read the book

Livre reçu rapidement et en bon état. ATTENTION, car je me suis trompé en l'achetant et un peu fait avoir, car j'avais cru que INCLU voulais dire "EN PLUS" du roman (qui est bien écrit en gros en titre ! Or il s'agit là uniquement d'un livre pour étudiant, avec des passages uniquement du livre, analysés et destinés à un travail d'étudiant. J'ai donc de nouveau achete le roman complet, cette fois en faisant attention !

Really thorough - goes through chapter by chapter with a synopsis as well as analysis. Character studies, themes etc too. Great for A level or top end GCSE as quite complex in places.
