These worked great. Easy to install on a 1/2" gas line to my portable Tri-Fuel generator. The quick disconnect and connect will save us so much time during periods of trouble brewing from bad weather.

The set seems to be or high quality and is all brass. The threading is clean and screwed together fine. The quick connect operates smoothly, lock on tight and does not leak. Definitely cheaper than buying locally, but this set is more expensive than similar options here on Amazon. Interestingly they ship it with a small roll of white Teflon tape which is not code compliant for NG (I have the correct PTFE yellow tape already, but it's something to keep in mind). As always, be careful when working with gas and leak test all your joints. 4/5 on overall quality, but I will price shop a little harder when I'm doing another conversion or adding another appliance.

This set will allow two gas appliances to be connected to the supply without buying two complete sets. The roll of teflon tape is silly, if you do not have the tape you should not be making gas connections.

This product arrived with all the pieces to handle any possible type of existing connection. Every time I work on gas line seems like I make 10 trips to the store for the correct connectors but this came with everything.

These fittings immediately spoke for themselves the moment you opened the package. They are precision made with an excellent finish. The connections fit with my existing fittings, effortlessly.

Quick disconnect works perfectly. Was surprised that the sealing tape was not yellow for natural gas or propane, but instead was the white tape. But I have yellow tape, so everything went well.

I was really impressed with this quick connect kit, very well tooled and really high quality. The quick connect secures tight which is a good thing, but it’s a two-handed task. I thought it would be similar to quick releases for garden hoses, but maybe for safety, it requires an additional step to secure it which I think could be difficult depending on the application… I don’t know if maybe all quick connects for natural gas works this way.I wasn’t familiar with the “1/2" QDD LP” terminology and hoped that it would work with my propane tank for my BBQ, but I later discovered that BBQ propane tanks use CGA 600 / QCC1/Type1 Connectors… so just a note this won’t work with your BBQ propane tank if that is your intent.

Solid brass fittings that are easy to install on generators or BBQ’s, just make sure you have the right fitting size.When inserting the male end into the female end be sure to hold the collar back, and firmly press the fittings together until you hear an audible “click” or until the collar locks into place.Do not turn on the gas if the fitting don’t align properly.

Good , I just wish it included a 1/2” flare fitting to npt . Then it would be everything you need
