This is a nice set, well organized, and easy to use. It does feel a little pricey to me for what you get. Each section is labeled according to the sound that you are trying to practice. As well as being color coordinated. One side has a picture, the other side has the sound you are focusing on.

My youngest child is a "COVID baby". She was a toddler (under 2) when the lockdowns began and our state was super strict. We mostly stayed home (except for a few activities she had) for close to 3 years. Although she has an excellent vocabulary, she is still working on making *some* sounds well. (It doesn't help that her two front baby teeth fell out about a week apart lol.)She's not far off, but she does need a bit of work. Not enough to bother a language therapist, but enough to ensure that we do it (mainly just making "r" sounds a little less baby-ish). In steps these cards! WOW!!! These cards concentrate on the "problem" sounds and you work on those. Repeatedly. What a relief!They come in a fantastic hard case (hard cardboard) and are sectioned off into "s", "r", "L", "z", "s blend", "R" blend, and "L" blend cards (with dividers identifying the sections). These beautiful, glossy, oversized cards are printed on a medium-weight cardstock with a light laminate on them and a picture on the front of them. The back has a color that matches a corresponding section divider identifying what it is (ie, "s-initial" meaning s is the initial sound of the word) and the name of the word that the picture is. I do wish they'd used a slightly heavier-weight cardstock for the cards. Luckily though I will likely be handling them more and my kid probably won't handle them much. None of my kids have ever met a card they did not accidentally bend at some point! The first card in each section is just a card listing all of the cards within that section.In my opinion this is a fantastic set of cards for ESL (or even if you want to work on other languages!), speech therapy, or just working with a toddler identifying words you wish them to learn. I'd buy it for any of those reasons, let alone ALL of them! This is a custom deck of cards - customized with certain sounds in mind to work on those as your own kind of "speech therapist" at home. They're not a generic deck of cards going over the ABC's once again. To me the price reflects the information contained, so in that sense I believe it is a fair price for the specific knowledge that you are gaining access to.I REALLY liked the "Activity Guide" cards at the back that give you some ideas of how to use these cards. Just using them as flash cards alone would get boring after awhile for any kid. I appreciate them giving me some ideas how to mix it up some before we get to the bored stage!Overall this is a fantastic set of cards in my opinion. I really appreciate getting access to the specific sounds that are the issue in general for people with speech therapy needs. Even though I know my child needs to work on "r" sounds - I don't have the specific knowledge to know which words will help her to properly work on the mouth movement patterns that she needs to learn how to make. This set is much appreciated in that regard. Definitely highly recommend!

This set is excellent. It is very helpful for teaching blends to my children who need a little help with speech. The cards are of stunning clarity, and the images are crisp and engaging. Seeing the blend on the back is such a great asset and makes it easy to work with. The box they are stored in is solid and will last. And I love the size of the individual cards.This set is worth the money!

These flashcards are made so well with bright colors and pictures and very engaging. Using them has been helpful in helping my son with his articulation. I know we will have these for a long time because they are so durable.

These cards are fantastic not only as Speech therapy tools but for ESL and little who are learning to read, etc.We use these in a homeschool setting, but they are perfect for School settings, for many professionals working with Adults and children in ABA, SLP, Speech Therapy, etc, as well as vocabulary building at home.NOTE: There are UK spellings for some words such as Tyre, which is not an issue to provide the Canadian spelling instead.This set is amazing and such high quality it will last for years and is a wonderful tool.I recommend this product.

Ich bin jedoch in meiner Meinungsfindung frei und versuche das Produkt möglichst objektiv zu bewerten.Die Karten werden in einer sehr stabilen Box geliefert. Der Deckel ist ebenfalls sehr stabil, sitzt gut und kann sehr angenehm geöffnet werden.Die Karten sind in einer ebenso guten Qualität gefertigt, was man allerdings bei dies Preis auch erwarten darf. Sie sind sehr schön groß, ideal für den Unterricht und Recht stabil. Sofern für jemanden interessant, die Karten sind nicht matt, sondern weisen einen dezenten glanz auf.Für den zukünftigen Verwendungszweck sollte beachtet werden, dass die Schrift auf der Rückseite der Karten auf Englisch ist. Also entweder man verwendet nur die Bilder in einem anderen Kontext oder eben in einem englischsprachigen Unterricht. Hierfür sind sie auch konzipiert und weisen dafür eine entsprechende Farbcodierung auf der Rückseite auf, welche sich nach den Lauten richtet.Das einzige was ich an den Karten aussetzen könnte, wäre der Preis. Da solch ein Material aber leider in der Regel immer so teuer ist und der Preis somit marktüblich erscheint, würde ich volle Punkte geben.

Pros:- Really great variety for each phoneme in all positions (initial, medial, final, and blends).- Features real-life photos, making them easily recognizable, relatable, and appropriate for all ages.- High-quality, durable cards printed on thick cardstock with bright and appealing images.- Suitable size for both individual and group use.- Simple design focused on the target image, free from distracting decorations.- Highly organized by speech sound with a colour-coded system and an inventory list.- Includes rare medial and final blends, as well as comprehensive blend combinations.- Comes with a sturdy storage box with dividers for each sound and a lid, making it portable and convenient store.Cons:- Contains several significant phoneme errors, especially considering the price of $65+.- The final /s/ deck includes words ending in the /z/ sound, which can be very confusing for those working on their speech (i.e. bubbles, eggs, and vase).- The spelling of the word "tyre” looks incorrect for anyone from North America (tire), however this is the correct way in British English.- The /r/ deck could be better organized by separating different vocalic /r/ sounds.- It does not include cards for many common speech sounds like sh, ch, th, k, g, and f.- There are a few blemishes where it looks like the cards bled onto other cards (see photo attached)Conclusion:These articulation flash cards are a great resource for any speech therapy clinic and/or educational setting, thanks to them offering a wide variety of real-photograph cards that target speech sounds in all positions. However, they are expensive and have a few critical mistakes that may impact their usability.

These have been great to use in an SEN setting, helping build confidence - lots of different pictures/words of varying complexity. Generally durable and should stand up to an occasional spill etc, but at £45 at time of review are expensive.
