Rayher 3117100 Pillar Candle Mould and Wick for Candle Making, Casting Mould for DIY Decorations, Diameter 5 cm, Height 10 cm

I have made my first candles using this mould. It is of sturdy construction and my candles turned out really well I didn't have a problem.I made sure I used wax for pillar candles and left them in a cool room overnight to harden and then had no problem removing them from the mould.The mould stands sturdily, I was not worried about it falling over. I put blue tack around the bottom where the wick comes out and I didn't have any leaks of wax.

Despite not having had any previous experience I had no problem at all using this for the first time. Putting the finished candle into the fridge for a short while (as suggested in the instructions) helped it to cool and slide out of the mould. My only gripe is that there is only one wick supplied, and I find £14 for a plastic mould, a wick holding pin, and the single wick rather pricey. Surely they could have supplied more wicks? So four stars rather than five.

I Needed a 5cm x 20cm candle mould.Saw this and thought it would be ideal.Sadly the whole mould (including the feet) is 16cm giving a candle of only 14cm.I am sure it's a good mould but not what was advertised.

Easy usage and cleaning.

Difficult to get the candle out of the mould. Used washing up liquid to help lubricate and ease the candle coming out of the mould but it was still hard to get out. Have had much better moulds.

Quality, very easy to use, the wax comes away clean with a lovely shine. Very pleased

This was ok but just didn’t seem sturdy enough maybe after a couple of go’s I may master it!
