This replaces my remote where the power button died. It works nicely and comes with a sticker on the back to describe how to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Inherited an AC wall unit with the purchase of our home. Ten years after we purchased the home, and who knows after how many years they had it, the remote went out. Got this one and it worked seamlessly!

Glad to find this replacement for an obselete part. Two minor complaints: the temp is in celcius with no evident was to change it, and there is no mode control to switch heat vs cool. But I can do that in other ways, and it only has to be done twice a year.

Most of the time it works great. Our AC has issues and occasionally we aren't able to turn it off with the remote. This may be an issue with our AC and not the remote, though.

Remote does come setup to Celcius but has a small paper with instructions to change Fahrenheit.It works good. No other programming is needed

Great product. The only thing bad is it only measures in Fahrenheit

This thing is working as a replacement for my original remote which got bad of heat and humidity.The cost is great too.

New house, and the room that became out theater has a unit installed that needed one of these remotes. Somehow the kids kept losing it, so I bought a backup. It does the job, but the battery door broke immediately and the 15 year old one has somehow survived still... Otherwise its OK.

Soooo happy with the converter! It works with our air conditioner and has extended the life of the unit since the a.c company wanted to sell us a brand new unit (for thousands of dollars) , saying that the converter was no longer being made by Goodman. Very satisfied!

We moved into an apt. with a Goodman ductless air conditioner. No remote. We felt lucky to find this. It works. Of course 6 months later the dog chewed it. So, easy, just ordered another one. Whew...
