Overall an amazing crate, however some production issues. 2 holes were not drilled to fit bolts so one side we had to reinforce with zip ties and the latches are great if your dog isn't an escape artist but our crazy husky can use her tongue to flip them up and escape so we used a carabiner as a failsafe (bigger than the one included) but so far so good. Definitely escape proof with some modifications

I purchased 2 of these kennels. They look good when you finally get them together but ..... A lot of problems. 1 kennel was missing holes in the back panel for the screws and misaligned holes for a couple other holes. Dents in the kennels but we're on the bottom so not a big deal. Parts were all over both boxes. Surprised no parts were missing with the big holes in each box. Locks are flimsy so I had to buy barrel locks so my dog's wouldn't bust thru the doors. The directions are worthless. Took 2 hours to build the first and a hour to build the second. 2 people are needed for a couple of parts. The tray is odd sized so my metal tray would not work inside the kennel. Put laminate flooring as the floor because the slats are a little wide. So after I had to add additional parts and a floor they are finally done and pretty solid. If you are handy and have extra time to make it better it's not bad.

Basic mechanical knowledge needed to assemble this cage. Instructions are limited and do not give you step-by-step on how to assemble bottom of the cage. The way it’s designed is not conducive for animals with smaller paws to step on craftsmanship is minimal but effective. I would recommend a rubber mat to go over the bottom of the cage, not only for the comfort of animals, but so they don’t slide through the bars, which are too widely spaced

I’m giving this product 2 stars because when it arrived it was a mess. It took us 2 hours to find all of the loose screws and bolts. The bag wasn't properly sealed so upon opening the box there was a rain of parts. We still don’t know if we have everything and will have to probably go to a hardware store to buy extra parts. To the manufacturer: please make sure you are properly sealing bags when shipping. The box was also damaged and probably cause some of the pieces to be lost in transit.
