Retractable screen door
We reallyLike the door. Much sturdier than our last. Had a bit of trouble getting the screen door portion to slide. Seemed to stay in the lockedPosition a lot. Finally figured it out. Would be helpful it it was mentioned in the instructions. But overall reallyNice door.

The problems with the latch are real
Very easy to put together, I haven't installed it yet because I'm waiting back to hear from the seller. My latch also wasn't working properly. I closed the screen to check to make sure it wasn't ripped because of what I saw on other reviews and it would not unlatch to retract. I removed the handle and got the screen retracted and then replaced the handle and what I believe is that there is a part missing on the interior handle. There is a square hole on the latch side of it and you can see a small metal ring. That looks like a washer that is mobile. When I lined that up with a small screwdriver, so the hole was centered, the latch worked fine. I made my own plug for it out of an extra old screw in adjustable leg that I used a hacksaw to shorten and the latch works fine now, but I will request a new handle because this is ridiculous.Update: I installed the door and the latch is working fine with my little plug in it but the screen doesn't stay in the top or bottom tracks. When you close the door, the screen is OK in the bottom track but in the top one it's flopped out right in the middle because the screen isn't tight enough. This isn't going to keep a single fly out of the house. When the wind blows, it blows it out of the bottom. Pretty expensive door for these kinds of issues.Update: I love the idea and the look of this door so much that I ordered a replacement. I'm so glad I did because it's perfect. Except for the latch part which I again had to Jerry-rig with my little hole plug. I think it was worth the trouble. Love it!

Not for daily use!
Just purchased this on 4/14 and put it up on 4/21. This was easy to install and fit perfectly; however, today the latch began to stick. Luckily in a previous review someone used a butter knife to free the latch. Definitely not for daily use. Only times when you just want to enjoy the outside during your favorite season.

Latch needs attention
The media could not be loaded. Nice design. Fit my opening well. Easy to put together and install.Mine came out of the box scratched. The latch system is iffy. Sometimes it catches sometimes it does not. Sometimes it gets stuck shut and will not open. I found I could use a screwdriver or butter knife (as in the video) to release the latch when it gets stuck.

Durable and easy to use.
Overall a pretty good door. Easy to assemble and install. I started having troubles with the latch right away. Thought it was the door binding up, but noticed that the latch locked up even when open. On the inside of the interior door - latch side, there is a notch, with a small lever. I have no idea what it is for, no info on the instructions, but I saw that it toggled back and forth. In the forward position the latch works great. But if that little lever falls back, it jams up the latch. I wedged a small piece of wood (toothpick size) into the back side and forced it to stay forward. Latch works fine. Pretty frustrating for a while, but I still love the door product now that I did my little "work around". Seems pretty durable and fairly high quality. I did have to install a 1 inch x 32" board across the bottom as noted in the instructions as a possibility. So far so good overall.

There is no way it is that easy
Ever look at something that seems to easy? You know it is a lie!!! Nope, not with this. The only issue I had was my own inability to follow directionsWorks great.
