Nice if you are a Florida Gator fan, but very disappointed in the function. You would think that the most expensive paper towel holder you will ever buy would at least have a non-skid bottom. I had to apply rug grip so it wouldn't end up on the floor every time I pulled off a paper towel. The bottom is actually hollow, nothing there at all but metal, and not weighted. And be prepared for the 'two handed paper pull" because when you get down to half a roll, there is no tension to hold them in place. My $10 Rubbermaid plastic paper towel holder has lasted for 10 years and works perfectly compared to this one.Sorry my husband talked me into this expensive conversation piece.

just received this item last nite..it is great and perfect for my kitchen..a little whimsy for my remodel..also reminds me of home..I am from Florida..it also goes with all my other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen..just sad I had to pay so much for it..it is, I feel, over priced, but could not find anything online to compare...

I saw this in a boutique, and purchased it online for only $10 less . Yes it's expensive, but it's the most awesome paper towel holder I have ever seen. Sits on my counter and works easily

The alligator paper towel holder is stunning! Top quality, good weight and functional. The size of the alligator is huge and details are amazing. Too bad we had to return it because the stem was damaged during shipping. I am waiting for more to be available to get a new one.
