The chair came fully assembled, completely ready to use. It looks well protected with something like a clear varnish. It looks really good. I will use it inside my apartment

Beware..Dangerous product
Dangerous product! While sitting in this chair for the first time I happened to bend over to pick up something from the floor and the chair collapsed in on itself throwing me to the floor and the chair back hitting me hard on my head causing a bump.While the chair is sound, it definitely needs an upgrade to prevent a collapse. Even though I am 78, I’m glad it happened to me and not one of my grandchildren or a friend.
