These steps are easy to install and look great. I would not hesitate in getting them for your truck. A year and a half later they are sturdy and are holding up very well.

So impressed I had to write my first review!I'm 67 and have a few "physical limitations", but thought I'd give the installation a try. After unpacking I found the box contained every piece, clearly marked and in good shape. The instructions did not include an explanation for the extra support brackets that were included but after quick inspection they are intuitive. My 2023 Tacoma had the factory drilled threaded receiver holes so the whole unit just bolts together. My wife offered to help but I used a small stool to support one end of the step while I loosely bolted the other. After installing all the bolts, I visually positioned the step and tightened the bolts. All done, start to finish, in 90 minutes, while taking my time and double checking each step so I wouldn't have to do anything twice.No blood spilled, no mashed fingers and I didn't cuss or through anything! I wasn't sure about ordering these given that there were only 6 reviews at the time, but I like the look and the price was right, so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. I'm really happy with the nerf bars. they're well built/good quality. The fit was perfect, and they were easy to install. The hardware is great quality. The hanging brackets are nice and sturdy. They look great on my Tacoma. I was able to get these installed in about 45 minutes.For best results, attach the brackets to the nerfs first and tighten. Then each bolt should go in loosely first. Once all are in, adjust placement and tighten. Make sure that you get the correct nerf at the correct side. They are not clearly marked, so after attaching the brackets, hold the bar up to the holes in the truck to makes sure they align.I'm happy with these and would buy them again.

(Update Below)Had similar problem as other reviewer. This product is a very easy install and is great quality and look for the money. The driver side installed perfect, but passenger side I had three bolts I couldn’t tighten because the insert for the screw housing was defective and just spins with the bolt. So you can’t tighten or loosen the bolt so it gets stuck. Had to get pliers to grab the insert while I twisted the bolt to get it out. So out of six support bolts three of them are useless rendering the weight capacity useless. Amazon is shipping me a replacement but then I will have to ship the huge running board back which is a pain. I will update my review if the new one works. However, with me not being the only one this has happened to sounds like a deeper quality issue. So 4 stars will be my highest ranking if I can get the other one working because you don’t know if your going to have bolt issues when you order this. If you have no bolt issues this product is excellent.Update: Got the replacement pair from Amazon and just took out the passenger side out of the box because that’s all I needed. Luckily everything was good. Put the bad one in the box with the unused driver side to ship back. (Putting this back in the box and shipping back was a (HUGE pain). With that being said product looks excellent and quality is great. I would recommend this product but just know there have been others have this bolt issue. If it wasn’t for that and the shipping back hassle this would get 5 stars.

I have a 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro and the steps were easy to install. My wife really appreciates being able to get into her truck easily.They look great.

This item is very strong and sturdy. Perfect fit on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Easy to install, even though the instructions are a little generic. The overhead figure helps with the bracket location. I attached the brackets to the steps first, then I put in two of the lower bolts (partially) in the truck to act as hangers ( one on each end, but don’t put the middle one in until later). The brackets have slots on the lower holes to allow you to slide it on, to allow it to hang in place, which allows you to then put in the remaining bolts. Tighten those 6 bolts down, then adjust the the bolts on the brackets to straighten and level steps to the truck.

Easy to install and it took less than an hour. They look great on our 2023 Toyota TRD!

The bars were labeled backwards on the foam wrapping. Not a big deal, but it raised concern needlessly until I figured it out. Then there didn't appear to be the proper number of bolts in the proper sizes. Overall there were enough, and it worked out (good enough). Instructions suck. Get it right. I paid full price, I expect a top notch product all around. On the other hand It was reasonably easy to install, and looks good on my Tacoma Trail Edition. So all in all, it is worth keeping. The small things should be easy to correct for the manufacturer. Just for these annoying things, I would not have purchased had I known. I would have purchased an all aluminum product I saw online that I think is a bit more difficult to install, but I wanted nice and easy and I didn't get it. By the way, delivery driver left it leaned up against the front of my house. I have aluminum siding. There's a dent in the siding at this area, but since I can't prove it was from the driver I will just accept. Why in the world would someone lean something this big and heavy against aluminum siding. All around purchase experience is just average at best.
