I used these as decoration for a centerpiece so they worked for what my needs, but far more shells were empty than the other brands I purchased.

I was surprised at the number of empty shells in the bag. The peanuts have a lightly salted taste. The taste of the peanuts themselves is not very strong. The peanuts are fresh. The 2 pounds of peanuts comes in a plastic bag, but the bag is not resealable. I put the peanuts into a Ziploc bag. This is just an average offering, I was surprised at the lack of quality control over what was put into the bag to ship to the customer.

These tasted weirdly soapy

You get a 2 lb bag of roasted and salted peanuts, which is a pretty substantial bag that will last a while. They are simple peanuts, so don't expect to be blown away. They were fresh, and I didn't find them stale at all. The salt content was pretty consistent and just enough without over or under doing it. There were quite a few crushed peanuts in the bag, and not all arrived in one piece. As with most whole peanuts you're also going to get some shells that are empty, that's just the nature of the product. My family really enjoys eating peanuts at our local steakhouse, and now we can do that at home. I have to just keep reminding them that we can't throw the shells on the floor here, otherwise I'm the one cleaning them up.

There are only 2 ingredients in these peanuts: peanuts and salt. Since the packaging doesn't say anything about non-GMO, I assume that these are GMO peanuts, and salt is regular iodized salt. There was a lot of dust in the bag, from peanut shells and also salt. I transferred everything to my own ziplock bag because of the dust and some empty shells. These peanuts are not stale, but I also don't taste the freshness in them. They're just ok. Expiration is 12/2025. No mention of when these were roasted.
