Great product always test and make sure you are comfortable with how the product works
Great accessory I only need to use it for short trips like taking my son to a large parking lot for him to get in some practice time however after trying it out on the 250 Honda I felt comfortable putting my 1100 Virago on it to take it to Coyote for a checkup hopefully you can see in the photograph that I didn't feel comfortable with how much the bike green so I put two extra straps from corner of bumper to corner of bumper this kept the bikes from leaning over and I can't tell you how great and easy it was I am planning on buying another one so that I can give it to my son when he gets his license and takes the Virago 1100 for his own

Only fits 4 7/8 tire not 5 7/8 as stated in listing. Numerous other issues.
There are a number of problems with this product that make it essentially unusable. I don’t think I’ve ever given a product a lower score but I really wanted this thing to work and put quite a bit of effort into it. This has been the most disappointed I have ever been by anything I’ve purchased from Amazon. The documentation was a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a hand-corrected photocopy. It was almost impossible to read and one is left to essentially figure out how some parts go together. The images on the amazon listing actually gave more guidance. There are 5 points where the bolts have to allow for parts have to either bend or slide. Normally when you need this kind of movement you use bolts that are only partially threaded. These bolts are fully threaded which means the only way for them to work is to leave the nuts loose. Not something I would be comfortable with when it comes to towing a vehicle. Still, I really wanted this to work so I went to the local hardware store and purchased proper hardware, but…..They never removed the burs from cutting the metal. The vertical shaft has a sleeve that slides up and down to lower and raise the cradle. My teeth experience significant discomfort as there was a screech of trying to get these two parts to move. But, I really wanted this to work so I got out the mini-grinder and smoothed out all the burs, buuuuut….Finally assembled and working I installed it into my receiver and drove the bike on the cradle. The product description rates this device for a maximum front tire width of 5 7/8 inches. The actual opening is less than 5 inches. My bike has a 130/90-16 front tire so there’s no way it’s going to sit all the way in the vertical cradle. Without the wheel fully engaged in that cradle there’s no way to make it stable enough to let go of, let alone drive around with.I will be returning this item. I’ll update the post with how that goes.

Looks like it’ll work fine slow driving and short distance. I haven’t used it yet.

Great solution to sticky problem
I bought this to haul my trike behind my travel trailer. Some states do not allow double trailers to be towed in them. TECHNICALLY this is not considered a trailer with there being no flexible joint at the connection point. I have used this for about 5,000 miles so far. The straps that came with the carrier are long enough to wrap around the carrier and front wheel and tie it down fairly securely. I added a regular ratchet strap to the safety chain loops just as an added security measure.

Good deal
I was very impressed. Many friends had their doubts but it did the job it was bought for.

Concerning purchase
The item in question was shipped with rudimentary assembly instructions but no user or product safety manual or data. I emailed the company asking if a manual was omitted from the packaging and was ultimately informed after a second inquiry that no such information existed. It is far from obvious how to safely use the product. Yescom asked what information I required. I replied with three specific concerns relating to securing a motorcycle to the carrier and precautions relating to towing and backing up. There was no response. I waited two weeks, phoned and left a message…still no response.Improper use of this product is risky whether one considers potential damage to the towed motorcycle, the towing vehicle or peril to any vehicles following behind. I would like to think that the product can be used safely but it should be the responsibility of the manufacturer/marketer to provide consumers with useful instructions for safe use and mitigation or clarification of potential liability.
