Not waterproof!
Three coats and water bubbles appeared after 1st rain. Called Kilz and they admitted it is NOT waterproof.Took a diamond grinding disk to concrete and etched the concrete before following the application instructions to a tee, bought all the right rollers and brushes (not cheap) as required. Waited 3 hours between coats and had more than 72hrs to cure. Five days later it rains and bubbles appear. At $65 a gallon this stuff is not cheap and turns out it can't handle a very light rain shower. Now they want me to strip and re-etch the effected area and reapply the coating. Don't apply to concrete that's not covered from the elements.Update: The surface continued to produce water bubbles after a heavy rain, contacted Kilz and inquired about a possible sealer or waterproofing product, they could not recommend one. After much research decided to try Rust-Oleum "Seal-Krete Clear-Sealer" over the existing coating. Went with the satin finish. Easy to roll on, applied 2 coats to the areas that would definitely get wet from the rain, looked much better w/ the satin finish. Cured for 72hrs and then had 2 days of rain. No water bubbles, the rain appeared as if it was on an expensive car waxing. Totally water-proof, highly recommend.

Plan to purchase more
Does not cover a very large area. Ran out after purchasing two gallons of this. Like the color, rolls on easy.

Love it!
After I used a container of ready made cement from Amazon to fill in a large crack, I used this cement paint in gray and added a little brown acrylic paint since the label said it cleans up with water. I experimented with my back porch cement until I got the right color. The acrylic paint thinned it out a little - just enough I think - and I applied it with a cellulose sponge I got from the Dollar Store. I painted the patch and the entire walkway. I didn’t want a perfect even color - I wanted it to look mottled just enough to blend in with the light colored patch. The finished product is in the second photo. The cement and paint are perfect as you can see. I will put a second coat of paint on it in the spring. So happy with the results. Looks professional to me.

Pricey
Doesn’t adhere very well to painted surfaces and bare concrete need a bonding agent first

Fantastic Results
I used this product for the first time as a sealer and finish for the landing on my front steps. The space was about 6'x5'. I had recently repaired some cracks by resurfacing using a concrete repair mortar and I wanted something that would seal the concrete and give it a nicer finish. Plus my wife insisted it be tan and not gray. So in searching I came across this Kilz product and I have to say it was the PERFECT solution. It's very simple to apply. It dries with a kind of a sandy-looking and feeling finish, so it's not slippery when wet and it looks uniformly awesome when dry. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend it for changing the looks and improving water-resistance for a concrete patio or stairway landing. Really great product!
