The recent purchase of the under sink water filter has been an excellent value. It was easy to install and has changed the quality and taste of our water for the better. The filter has not impacted the flow rate at all.

UC50 works very well. Noticeable difference in water taste, for the better. Very good customer service. Easy installation.

It is pretty easy to install but a little bulky for putting in under a sink

The tap water in my state is DISGUSTING & i used a gravity filter for the longest but it got annoying to clean/fill all of the time. Idk why i didn’t think of this first! Instal was fast & easy. Water isn't a weird color. Tastes amazing. No change in water flow after flushing. Happy with my purchase.

Filter is well made and easy to install. Filter doesn't remove minerals so you won't notice any changes on a TDS meter. Other than that the filter works great and the water flow is very fast.

I am used to use filters for my drinking and cooking water (I do not trust city standards), however, most of them are difficult to install and in my case at least, I have to call the plumber to do it the right way. In general, those use 3 or 4 cartridges, each one lasting a different period, so it gets hard to track all the dates I need to remember to replace each one of them.Other than that, I always have the fridge alternative. It uses a single filter, easy to install, hassle free and last about the same as the other ones, however, such a tiny filter makes me doubt its efficacity.Now there comes the new kid in town. The Stokk Under Sink Water Filter ! It is almost as easy to install as the fridge cartridge and almost as effective as the multistage ones, in my opinion at least. Installation was a breeze, even for me so nobody should have any major issues with this part. As with any filter, I let water run for a few minutes before actually using the water coming from this filter. Taste was good, perfectly clear and no odor, as it should be.I'm not a microbiologist nor a chemist, but from the end user stand point of view, this filter does a good job. If you add to that the fact that it lasts for about 26,000 gallons, you are sure you are getting the bang for your buck. 26K gallons is a lot and unless you use it for all your house needs, including toilets (which this filter is not intended for) and use it only for drinking and cooking, you should have filter for a very long time.My experience so far has been great. I have no complaints. I plan to keep on using it for its whole lifespan and if I find a replacement cartridge, for even longer. Highly recommended.

This filter made an immediate difference to the taste of our water. We live in a town that does use chlorine, but the town is often referred to by others as having some of the best water around. This filter improved it even more.The install of this was very simple. It took me longer to find my 5/8" wrench to tighten the lines than it did to hook this up. The two provided lines are push in connections to the filter itself, and were completely leak free when the water was turned back on. The female threaded line plugs into the "in" on the filter and line with the male, exposed threads, into the "out" side of the filter. Once the lines are in the filter, it is pretty much a foolproof connection to the source and the line that goes to the tap. The filter is supplied with teflon tape for the threaded connections, but I didn't need it as the connections didn't leaked at all..In addition to the teflon tape, you receive 2 extra locks for the push connections, some extra rubber seals and two adapters if your lines use 1/2" threaded connectors instead of 3/8". This should be all that the vast majority of homes built in last 3 decades or so should need.I blind taste tested 4 family members by filling a glass immediately prior to hook up, and then filling a second glass after a 2 minute flush of the filter (water was pretty cloudy when first connected). All 4 immediately identified the filtered water (3 by taste and one by smell alone). Impressive! The very next thing I did was make a cup of coffee with the filtered water. I also noticed an immediate and better taste to the coffee. Now I am just waiting for ice cubes to freeze...expect those will be better too (I can always taste the chlorine from the ice cubes in a glass of bottled water - this should do 2 things - one, remove the chlorine from the ice cubes and 2, remove the drinking of bottled water!).This is an easy to install unit with an immediate, favorable impact. That is why I am giving this a 5 star recommendation.The one concern I do have is I can't find a listing for replacement Stokk filters on the Canadian Amazon site. Hopefully those will be made available as the filter will eventually require replacement.
