If there was a way to give zero stars, this "product" would have it. What I was sent was an unworking item, sent in a beat up box, and when I attempted to plug my cable into the 30 pin connector on the back, the connector snapped off. When I opened the bottom of the dock to repair it, I saw that the connections for every thing in it were not only poorly made, but was soldered to a board with barely anything on it, so it wouldn't have worked, even IF it was actually made well. Waste of money I wish I never spent.

Can’t be picky when you are looking for something that was outdated a decade ago. This is lightweight and cheaply made….BUT it does exactly what it’s supposed to and charges my old iPod perfectly without tipping over at all.

The 5g iPod (video) doesn’t touch the back of this stand making the connector the only point of contact to hold it up. The weight and feel is pretty flimsy and cheap, but I guess what else to do you expect for the price. The audio out buzzed, but I got it working by jiggling it

Just as others have noted. Arrived in damaged product packages. Flimsy product. Says it is compatible with iPod 5/5.5. It is not. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

There are photos on the packaging of an iPad being supported by this cheap, unusable throwaway - I marvel at how they were able to take them. The only thing I can figure is that the device was glued to the table. It certainly isn't capable of supporting an iPad 2 in an upright position as shown. The connector is loose, also, which only adds to the overall shoddiness.You get what you pay for - I know that to be true, I generally live by it, and as penance for not following that worthy rule, I am forfeiting my seven bucks and depositing this POC in the trash. Mea culpa.
