Great little planters
These were perfect!! They are small. That being said they are great quality and I am very pleased with them.

Could be deeper, otherwise you guessed it - it's a ceramic pot with a hole in the bottom
There seems to be one standard size of bonsai pot and that is this. I guess I wish it was a little deeper but there's not much option outside of this style. Beyond that, it's a piece of ceramic with a pluggable drainage hole in the bottom. Ceramic is decent quality to my untrained eye. Our last pot broke I think because it was out in the elements during winter and expanded and contracted a lot, so we'll see how this one holds up.

Very nice, maybe a little too deep for bonsai
These arent as shallow as I had hoped, but they do have drainage which is very important. They are of high-quality, you can tell that someone glazed them by hand and they have some weight to them.
