I really like this pack of sketchbooks. The paper is thick and good quality, whether you're water-coloring, drawing or making a collage. I've liked having extras for feeling like there's room for mistakes in my art. This could also make for a good gift for the artist in your life.

I love the convenience of handing a whole sketch pad to each kid/adult who wants to draw and not messing with tearing out sheets, or keeping track of loose sheets, or finding perfectly smooth surfaces for drawing.

Our school system now requires sketchbooks as part of the school supply list. These were a great bulk set for the price and work well for each kid as it is meant to occupy them during busy or sensory time. They are thin but still serve their purpose.

The pages are decent quality. There is sufficient texture on the surface of the paper to be useful for colored pencil work (which is one of my primary use cases). The pages aren’t that heavy/thick (68 lbs) but there isn’t bad bleeding with pen and ink work (which is also one of my favorite medias to work with).The back cover cardboard is nicely stiff and one can sketch easily in the book when holding it or when it is placed on ones lap. The wire binding allows the pages to be folded fully flat.All in all, quite pleased with this set.

Tons of pages. Includes 4 books. This is a really great value. The paper is a nice quality for sketching or markers. It will sometimes leak through if it's a water based marker or paint marker.

A great price for multiple sketch books. These would be great for kids or beginners. It has a a bit of texture despite being described as smooth. It also feels a bit thinner than my 60lbs paper. It feels more like something you might get in a kid classroom.Also, while it is spiral bound, it doesn’t have any perforations to tear off the mess. Scissors will be require especially if a person wants to use this for a class that requires turning in projects. But if you just want some extra, casual sketchbooks on hand, I’d say this is a decent price for the quality.(I will say, though, sometimes it’s better for beginners/kids to have better quality supplies so they don’t get frustrated.)If you are a seasoned artist, this paper might not be for you, although that is a personal preference. But if you have an interested kid or are beginning and just want a bunch of okay sketchbooks for a low price, go for it!

These sketchpads are large at 9 x 12 inches and are acid free, which is imperative for anyone serious about artwork. The paper is basically a hot press and so is smooth, and at 68lb is a decent weight. Each pack has 30 sheets which is sufficient, and the backing is heavy cardboard so under most circumstances it means one does not have to lug around an additional drawing board to stabilize the pad. This is ideal for sketching, pencils, pastels, colored pens, or any other type of dry media such as charcoal or conte. The spiral binding allows each page to open fully and lay flat, or if one wishes to remove a page, the spiral binding also allows a page to be torn against it so it comes out cleanly. This is a great gift for anyone who already has an interest in drawing, or to give to someone who just wants to try. The price is relatively inexpensive and a good buy compared to other products of similar quality. Everyone should have a sketchbook, even if they don't draw it is wonderful paper and a good format to write on and allow free expression, even if one is using text.

These are really great sketch books. Quality paper with good tooth for pencil or pen. A good size for student sketching. Great value in the multipack!
