THE BLUE UMBRELLA

A feel good story
The media could not be loaded. I am reading fiction after almost ten years (I am a 27 years old female). All this while I was reading self-help books that contain more or less the same content so I got bored of them and during the pandemic I stopped reading books altogether. I tried reading some books on the phone but would easily get distracted and discontinue the book.I was getting desparate to get back into my reading habit so without giving it much thought I orderd this book. When I received it, I was shocked to see how thin it was. I could finish it within an hour or two, I thought. But I ended up reading just one chapter a day over the course of a week whilst thoroughly enjoying the art illustrations and absorbing all the information at a slow pace.I feel, it has somewhat healed my inner child. The story is very simple with a moral that I'm sure kids would benefit greatly from. As an adult, I could foresee how it would end yet had a child-like excitement to read the next chapter. I guess I was missing this kind of genuine excitement for reading books, so I'm grateful for this book to help me get out of the reader's slump.Ever since I finished this book, I have gotten more such books that are primarily meant for childre as I'm enjoying their simplistic narration and subtle lessons.

Best for Beginners
The language is very lucid. Obviously, it is a fictional novella, so don’t expect much knowledge. It provides an immense description of emotions, with each character being a unique herb in the brew. The story has a very sharp beginning, flows well in the middle, and ends with a stereotypical happy conclusion. It can be completed in 1-2 hours.
