I love the slick controls - previously I had knobs which were difficult to keep clean. All features make the hob really versatile and it looks smashing. The lock is a great feature 'cos I use the hob as work-surface when not cooking and it prevents accidental switch on. Great value for money - I hope it is as long lasting as it is beautiful, that's yet to be seen.

As described, this hob is sleek and beautiful. Easy to install and use. The dual ring is a real bonus. Definitely a great value for money

The media could not be loaded. The one I am reviewing has only a single hot plate. It can be built in, and comes with everything you need, and dire warnings about this only being done by qualified professionals, although you can just plug it in. The installation is therefore structural, and not electrical, so I am pretty sure according to UK building regs, you can do this yourself, if so inclined.Not sure if this is an induction hot plate, it looks like one, and functions like one, heating up far more quickly than normal electric hot plates, but it does not mention this in the description. And it says any pots can be used..The single plate I have is not standard size for a built in oven, it's as deep as a standard cooker, but not nearly as wide. In the video, it is on top of my gas cooker. It is 52 x 29 cm and 4.5 cm deep. This smaller version would be ideal for a camper van, or for a very small kitchen, where you want to save worktop space.I am actually really impressed with how fast this heats up, even compared to quite expensive induction hobs, this performs very well. If I had room, and did not already have a gas cooker, I would definitely buy the 4 plate version. For the current price, it is a total bargain. Almost as quick as a gas hob, depending on how high you set it. Settings are from 1 – 9 and at 9, it does take a bit longer to reach full heat, but still gets hot enough quickly: within seconds you can feel the heat coming off it.It will also be really easy to clean.I cannot say anything about installation, as have not decided what to do with mine yet, but based on how well it works, am tempted to have it installed and forego a bit of worktop space.This is a Vine Voice review, but that has not changed my opinion and I only review items I would buy.
