2 Drawer File Cabinet with Lock, Metal Vertical Filing Cabinets for Home Office, Steel Storage Cabinet for Hanging Legal/Letter Size Files, Assembly Required (Black)

This came packaged super well, did take 2 people to build but could probably be done by a single person. Came with 2 keys as pictured. Wanted to add a note that ALL 4 drawers LOCK securely when the single lock is used. Which is exactly what I needed, vs only 1-2 drawers only locking. Also has a tip safety feature that allows for only one drawer to be open at once. This is not super heavy duty but it is overall fairly secure/ would deter someone from trying to get into files/ items stored inside. Perfect for my needs in the front office for keeping some files/items that need to be locked up but don't necessarily need to be in a fire proof/fancy file cabinet.

got this as I wanted to have legal size folders to store our filing in.Assembly was fine, took 45 min or so. Not complex at all.Drawers are a little flimsy but not too bad.Overall its fairly sturdy for how much you are spending. it is NOT a SteelCase but is fine for home/light work environments.Glides are a little cheaper/flimsy but once the drawers are installed they seem to work.Generally, you get what you pay for and this isn't expensive but is of reasonable quality.My biggest issue came once I started to files in it. I put legal hanging folders front to back and then started to load up the manila file folders in those. Everything seemed ok until I closed and opened the drawer. The file folder tabs get caught (and ripped) on the cross brace support that is between the drawers. I messed with it a bit but in the end I took out one of the cross braces on the one main drawer I am using which you shouldn't have to do.I didnt see any material change in sturdiness when I removed the cross brace but not sure once its fully loaded if it will matter. I likely will just use it for letter (left/right) filing in the other 2 drawers and leave the other cross brace in. Just wanted to make people aware - hanging folders + manila file folders = bad outcome unless you remove the cross brace.

The media could not be loaded.  Got this file cabinet to tame the paper chaos in my home office. It's a decent piece of furniture - looks sleek and doesn't take up too much space. The drawers are roomy enough for all my folders, both letter and legal size. Nice touch with the adjustable rails, makes organizing easier. The locking system's pretty nifty, gives some peace of mind for sensitive docs. Build quality seems good, doesn't feel flimsy like some cheaper cabinets I've had before. But it's not all smooth sailing. Assembly was a bit of a headache - instructions weren't the clearest, took me longer than expected to put together. The anti-tip feature works, but it makes opening drawers a tad clunky sometimes. Paint job's okay, but I noticed a few small scratches right out of the box. The lock's decent, but don't expect fort knox level security. It rolls okay on carpet, but can be a bit wobbly on hard floors. Overall, it does the job of keeping my papers organized and secure. If you're patient with assembly and don't mind a few minor quirks, it's a solid choice for home office storage.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This file cabinet is beautiful! Sturdy and very functional. The only issue is that the locking mechanisms are missing. Please see above photo for specifics. If those can be sent this purchase will be perfect

I’ll get straight to the point…this filing cabinet is POOR quality. Very thin metal. Very lightweight. Poorly designed/constructed. Hardware is poor quality. And, you need to assemble it yourself. I would NOT recommend this product. It is not worth the money.

This file cabinet is hard to put together, maybe we were just having a bad day. Will finish it tomorrow.

The finish product is great, and looks just like in the picture, is very sturdy and the drawers works flawlessly.The item is a bit heavy once finish, the color is great, and the lock works just fineAs far as assembly goes, the manual recommends you build it with another person, however I was able to put it together by myself in a bit under an 1 hour, I’d say 40 to 45 minutes …. In other words is really easy to assemble, plus it comes included with a very handy hammer, screw driver and gloves (I didn’t even use the gloves)The lock is fantastic and works just as described, there are 2 keys included in the box

Good price but did not know it came unassembled. Very sturdy and heavy
