It’s not defective if your media is going on/off
I have mine plugged into a 3 monitor kvm switch and I thought I had an issue with videos and songs constantly being paused then played when using this device. I slightly unplugged my aux jack and it’s working perfectly fine. My aux jack that I’m plugging in has two green rings, so I don’t know if that matters but I know there are a few different types. The usb is fully plugged in.

DOES NOT WORK ON WINDOWS 11, BOUGHT THIS AS MY LAPTOP AUX PORT IS GOING BAD, BUT IT KEEPS CUTTING AUDIO IN AND OUT, TIRED ON MY OTHER LAPTOP AND DESKTOP SAME ISSUE,DO NOT BUY IF ON WINDOWS 11 HAVE NO IDEA IF IT WORKS ON ANY OTHER VERSION AM RETURNING THIS CRAPPY PRODUCT.

Big issues
I have the latest Windows 11 version to date with all up to date drivers. I bought this since my aux port is wearing down and needs to have aux plug in's at an angle to work. I use AKG K371 Headphones and a sound bar, they work perfectly fine.This adapter makes sound stutter constantly, but doesn't make system sounds stutter at all. It also makes my PC slower, my mouse responds slower and all my inputs have a slight delay. It does all that when it's plugged in, even without being in use, the issues still affect my pc.Maybe this works on older PC's, but it doesn't work on the latest version of windows 11.
